For Angel Rahimi, life is only about one thing: The Ark – a pop-rock trio of teenage boys who are currently taking the world by storm. Being part of The Ark’s fandom has given her everything – her friendships, her dreams, her place in the world. Jimmy Kaga-Ricci owes everything to The Ark too. He’s their frontman – and playing in a band is all he’s ever dreamed of doing. It’s just a shame that recently everything in his life seems to have turned into a bit of a nightmare. Because that’s the problem with dreaming – eventually, inevitably, real life arrives with a wake-up call. And when Angel and Jimmy are unexpectedly thrust together, they will discover just how strange and surprising facing up to reality can be. This book was absolutely, exceptionally accurate. There were parts that I found cringey, but that was only because I realised that I'd done those things myself before. I can only hope that if I were to meet my idol I could be as calm and collected as Angel. Everytime I read one of Alice Oseman's book I relate to the main character, even if we aren't really alike. It happened again this time with Angel, I definitely know what it's like to feel as though some guys on a screen are you're whole entire world. Although I am very glad that Angel was able to have a bit of growth, and she could understand that she needed to care about herself and not just The Ark. This book had a diverse range of characters, and each brought something new to the story. I really loved this book and I will definitely read it again! #aliceoseman #aliceosemaniwasbornforthis #theark #iwasbornforthis #booklover #bookstagram #bookcommunity #booksofinstagram #readingtime #ilovebooks #bookblogger #bookblog #booknerdigans #bookobsessed #bookishfeatures #bookphotography #yalit #yabooks #currentlyreading #igreads #instaread #bookworm #booknerd #bookaddict #bookdragon https://www.instagram.com/p/CS7PcejMXUD/?utm_medium=tumblr
