This is my Witchcraft and Spirituality blog. I classify myself as Soft Polytheist with Christian Witchcraft ties and Neo-Wiccan ideals. I believe in all Gods and Goddesses, I believe that they are different facets of the same personality. Like split personalities. I have three main deities that I worship and they are Nyx, Hecate, and Artemis. If anyone ever has a question I will answer it to the best of my ability.

I have a question, please don't laugh. I'm very intuitive and mature for my age and I have a strong attraction to the night. What would my deity or deities be to pray to? I'm still new to this. Thank you for answering in advance! (:

For a strong attraction to the night, my personal favorites are Hecate (for her connections to the starless skies), and Nyx (for everything night related). Others that I have come across are Selene, Urania, and Hinenuitepo. I do recommend that you do some research on your own, either on these names or just on general associations. Some of the sites I used to find these were www.theoi.com and www.godchecker.com

Hey. I've been Wiccan since I was 13, but 4 years ago something happened that broke my spirit. I am better now but in these 4 years I have let myself spiritually decay. The New Moon in upon us and I want to do a cleansing ritual to start anew but I'm not sure how. I am also concerned my patron Goddess will be upset with me for leaving for so long. Do you have any advice?

First off I'm sorry to hear about your spirit being broken 4 yrs ago, but very happy to hear that you are recovering from it. I'm not very experienced with rituals. I would suggest that no matter what you do, I would personally make sure that you set aside some time to commune with your patron Goddess. No matter if you spend the time talking to her or just sitting there is silence.

Due to the fact that I don't have sufficient knowledge is this area, I am opening this question up to the community. Does anyone have anything that they can add to help with this?

Okay SOOOO in the process of ordering this deck, I heard about a SECOND edition from the artist - here’s what I heard;

The 2nd edition will be released at about the end of May or the beginning of June. The 2nd edition’s quality will be better and will be borderless. Some cards of 2nd edition will be redesigned. The price of each deck includes postage of 2nd edition is about &46. And Signed Version is about $53 (includes postage). And maybe released the negative limited version is about $88 (includes postage).

SO if you still want one, you can get a 2nd edition copy in as early as a few short weeks!! yay!

Just about any herb you can grow will dry well in the oven. Clip herbs for drying before they flower and early in the morning right after the dew is off. The exception is dill, which should be harvested after the seeds have developed. Oven drying is best begun early in the day.

Harvest the herbs when mature but before they’ve begun to flower, as the flowering takes strength from the leaves. The most potent leaves are found at the ends of the stems, and they decrease in strength as you get closer to the stem.

Throw away any discolored or dead leaves. Remove the leaves from the stems and place in a single layer on each tray and place each tray on an oven rack. Be sure there’s room for the air to circulate around each leaf. Place the racks in the oven.

Prop the oven door open so that the air can circulate, but keep an eye on the thermometer so that the temperature remains between 140°F and 160°F. (You can speed up the process a bit if you have a small electric fan to set up so that the stream of air blows into the oven.)

Once you’ve got everything nicely settled, set the timer for 30 minutes.

When the timer buzzes, rotate the racks. Move each rack down one space and put the bottom rack on the top. Reset the timer. Each time you check you repeat this process so that every rack will have equal time. This will correct for any temperature differences inside the oven. You can also take this opportunity to turn the food over so it dries more evenly.

Repeat step 4 until the herbs are completely dried, about 2 to 4 hours (times vary depending on the herb).

Hello, I have been looking for more information on the goddess Nyx because I feel she is my patron goddess. However, while looking I've noticed there isn't much on the internet. Are there any books or website you could recommend?
