Update and Stuff

Ok, I just realized that I kinda abandoned this blog a while back. I’m really, really sorry about that. I originally started this blog because i enjoy writing, and I wanted to focus on a single topic because, well, I really love Monster Hunter. However, after a few months, i realized a few things.

1st, I don’t want to focus on exclusively MonHun topics. It’s just too limiting in the end.

2nd, Tumblr’s a little too limiting for what I want to do. It’s a cross between a blogging site and a social media site. All fine and dandy, but the format doesn’t give me enough to work with. I needed a way to expand.

So, with that in mind, I created a Wordpress blog a few months back and started, well, blogging. Writing reviews, articles, that kind of stuff. But I kinda completely forgot about Tumblr, and I’m sorry for completely dropping off the map without warning.

SO! Here’s what’s gonna happen. A) This blog’s mainly MonHun focused. As such, I’m not really gonna be using it anymore. It shall remain alive for the sake of the archive, but it won’t be used anymore.

I understand your worries for MHGen but I dare say that you're simply jus not as invested in the game as you claim. Monster Hunter is a game that has had a game put out every year in Japan, that's a test copy and a final copy so to speak. This has done well in Japan and honestly that's the only thing Capcom cares about as the Japanese market is their main market. I don't feel as MHGen will get a rehash due to all it's content but I could be wrong. Overall, jus be grateful we got the damn thing.

I certainly am grateful that we're getting Generations, absolutely. I just hope that it's not a sign of things to come. I put 400 hours into 4U, and I can't sink that amount of time into 2 of the same game. If Capcom does indeed do what I'm worried about, I'm either stuck sinking time into what will eventually be an inferior version or waiting for the better one while everyone else has the game. Basically, I don't have the dedication to commit to 2 of the same game, and I imagine many others don't as well.
