A/N: @books-n-harleys​ this is G O R G E O U S. Also it took me like three tries to spell gorgeous b/c my brain is so fried smh. BUT STILL THIS WAS JUST THE CHEERING UP I NEEDED. This week has been a mess. Studying is painful at this point and I destroyed my laptop on accident (as it turns out water and electronics don’t mix🙃🙃🙃). Went through a scare where I thought I lost everything, got locked out of this Tumblr b/c I don’t remember passwords, and then had to buy a new computer lolol. Two Times Three

This is for @books-n-harleys​ !!! Happy (early) birthday, girl !!! She had an idea for a drabble so I typed it out for her. Just a quick little thing (heads up for all it doesn’t apply to the Small Fry or Lil’Bit storylines so anyone you see here won’t be part of the actual storyline!)

I had never met a set of twins until I showed up at Aubrey’s door and met Taylor and Tyler. Then Sideswipe and Sunstreaker got blasted into our universe and that was my second pair. Now, I was leaning against the metal rail of the walkway staring at my third pair. Granted, three sets of twins weren’t a lot per say, but considering I went from 0 to 3 in less than a year that was definitely considered abnormal.

Ratchet - “YoU wHat!”

-BOOM!-

The three mech across from the seething CMO immediately dodge his oncoming wrenches as he launches them at their helms.

Sideswipe - “H-hey! We didn’t even understand this at first, Hatchet?!”

-whoosh!-

The red mech keels over backwards when a wrench slams into his faceplates.

Ratchet - “My yOuNgLiNg iS oFf LiMiTS! nOW kEeP yOuR sErVoS oFf!!”

Jazz slowly slides in between the raging medic and the downed twin as Sunstreaker stood still behind him.

Jazz - “Now, Ratchet… We would never intentionally hurt AJ, you know that… Right?”

His only reply is an enraged scream as the CMO viciously Yanks out his humming weapon from his subspace.

Ratchet - “I’m GoInG tO oFfLinE yOu gLiTcHiNg FrAgGeRs BeFoRe YoU eVeN APPROACH HER!!”

Heya! I am one of many fanfic viewers Small Fry & Lil bit! My user name is Books-n-Harleys. Anyhoo!! I got a question for Sunstreaker and Sideswipe? What we're both of your thoughts and emotions when watching Aj fight in the cage that night in Small Fry? I know some of it might've brought old memories- although minus the death of her opponents. Btw! I love Sideswipe's humorous pranks with Sunstreaker & Sunstreaker's protective instincts because I myself am a twin!🤟😊

Sideswipe hummed in thought and leaned over against his brother who grumbled in annoyance but didn't push him away. A lot had happened that night. 

“You know?” Sideswipe glanced at Sunstreaker as he spoke, “We knew she could fight, but seeing it for real in a setting like that was...”

Sunstreaker nodded, “Jarring.”

“Yeah”, Sideswipe agreed quickly, “That’s a good word for it. The human’s fighting ring is obviously different than the gladiatorial rings. For one, they get to live.” He crossed his arms with a shrug. “Same kind of vibe though. Rage and greed and adrenaline.”

Sunstreaker vented air, “It brought back a lot of memories. Some not so good ones.” The mech thought back to the moment Aj truly lost herself in the fight. The look in her optics when she pummeled the other human into unconsciousness. The very obvious bloodlust radiating off her. “We’ve been there before.”

“I don’t think about that night all that much.” Sideswipe admitted, “But I can never seem to forget the way she looked after that last fight. When she stumbled out to her truck shaking.”

Sunstreaker glanced at his brother and his agreement didn't need to spoken. He could feel it over the bond. Neither of them had liked that moment. They were glad they had been there for her, but they knew what it felt like to hit rock bottom and feel out of control.

They hated it just as much as she did.
