i can see how that is a tricky situation for you, but at the end of the day, only you can know the right answer for what to do. personally, i would not be able to keep that from my partner and would need to tell them. i don’t think secrets or having privacy is a bad thing but i don’t think i would keep that a secret, i would feel it to would only be fair to tell them as if someone cheated on me, i would want to know. they may forgive you and you can move on. but it depends on how you feel you should tackle the situation.
