the notion that partisan gerrymandering isn’t something the supreme court should be addressing because it’s a political issue is so fucking laughable, i don’t know how those assholes look their clown faces in the mirror.

political issues are those that have their remedy at the ballot box. when your vote has been essentially mooted by gerrymandering, how exactly are you meant to remedy the “political” issue of wanting your vote to actually count?
