Blog stats, etc.

So this post is mostly for me to sort through which websites are bringing in more of an audience for my reviews and posts, but figured I’d share with anyone curious.

Bsky - 40.2K followers Twitter – 48.4K Threads – 5,747 Insta – 1,076 Tumblr – 274 Blog – 629 subscribers Discord – 1,004 members

I’ve yet to get Threads or Insta to really work for me. Threads, I cross post everything from Bsky to, but I just don’t like the layout of the platform and find having conversations over there more difficult. I also find that it has a LOT more drama and controversy than here. Like, a LOT. I’ve yet to get the urge to spend a lot of time on Insta (or TikTok), though I know both are working well for others. How are others finding them? Is TikTok still has helpful as it was? (I wish I found short form videos more engaging, but alas.) I’d be curious to know what others’ stats are!

Mostly mulling over all of this because I’m considering maybe doing video book reviews in the new year and I’m curious how it would transfer over or if there’d even be an audience for indie book reviews over on BookTube. Thoughts, thoughts ...
