writing out my probably wrong night manager 2 finale theory, featuring a large amount of money and the one thing roxana definitely knows that roper does not.

the latest twist was roxana switching sides to roper, but she doesn't really know anything does she? if there's a plan already she doesn't know it because she got left in that house for most of the last episode. if the dudes have come up with something between them they haven't told her. she could be used to give pine some lies, but he doesn't seem to trust her enough and where would she have got new information from since the last time he asked her for the plot?

but she does know that teddy has indeed been 'susceptible' and roper knows that but he's thinking his son's been heartlessly seduced for espionage reasons. and the thing is that roxana's always been on the periphery of basically everything that's going on in the plot but

she has always

been there

while the men ignored her.

Even when she seems to be the one literally pushing them together, they kind of just forget she's in the room.

Which we have not really discussed much, but even here on The Yaoi Website someone will occasionally comment on the weird extent to which Roxana doesn't get to do much and is on the least emotionally significant side of the triangle. She was right there watching Teddy be susceptible.

And speaking of being susceptible to seduction

her direct attempt failed and if you add up screentime I don't think any female character in either series spent this much time around Jonathan Pine without him trying to shag her. So she might conclude that he's just not into woman at all (and Roper knows it's not that!) or he's more interested in someone else (see above).

This is arguably the most valuable piece of information she can give to Roper, whether she's aware of that fact or not.

Fear her, for she has seen many tumblr gifsets and is even in some of them, pushed off to the side and maybe we kind of forgot she was there at the time.

At this point I will like everyone else round here assume that Teddy will die tragically. Some people think that like the dogs he'll get shot by Roper for betrayal, and maybe he will but the scenario might be a bit more elaborate.

For instance, the 300,000,000 USD that they keep bringing up. It has a practical use in funding this mission to Colombia but we keep being reminded that this money exists and where it came from and who has it and etc.

My BOLD CLAIM is that Roxy's slash report + Roper's knowledge of S1 + this large amount of money that's lurking in the background = Pine and Roper both have something to offer each other to get the other one to cease and desist.
