[ madness ] event open.
He stepped away from the wall, taking the cigarette from his mouth while a grin slowly stretched across his face. The boy should have known better than to approach Stein, at least when he was in such a harshly psychotic state.Â
He also seemed entirely dissectable, how lovely. The doctorâs hand slipped into his lab coat pocket and he carefully assured himself of the fact that his scalpel was still there, as were his many powersâŠ
âM -Mister, Are you alright!?â
Stein nodded, grin calming a little.
âIâm perfectly fineâŠâ he muttered, â..but no one seems to believe me when I tell them that.â
Everyone was always so wary around him, at least as of late! He only wanted to pull things apart, open the many gifts there were there for him. What was so wrong with that? Clearly the majority of the population had different moral values than him, different ideals. It was so very disappointing.
Stein stepped towards the stranger, glasses gleaming to the point where they hid his grey - green eyes from view. âAll I want to do is dissectâŠâ he sighed, gaze rising from the ground slowly to meet the young manâs eyes. He placed the cigarette back to his lips, smoke lazily drifting away.
âSo, what are you; a weapon or a meister?â He was still convinced he was in Death City. Better learn what he was dealing with before he actually cut the boy up, right?
"...but no one seems to believe me when I tell them that." His clenched fists were now growing sweaty. So, evidently, he hadn't been the first one that had crossed this man's path this evening, -- the boy's gaze warily turned up towards the man to scan over for any signs of evidence that any others might have met, hoping not to catch his attention too much from this potentially offensive gesture.
He meant no harm, he just didn't want to die just yet. Even if he was beyond average, even if he had nothing in particular to live for -- this was just such an unfortunate way to go...
"Ah -ah, really...? -" Mikad pipes up with a regulated amount of enthusiasm. "Maybe, they were just ...concerned." Any bypasser should be, worried if they overheard an outburst of maniacal laughter, that is. "I'm sorry to have bothered you then! Y -you were probably just enjoying yourself." He trailed off unconvincingly, unable to convince himself that it was such a boring matter but anything to smooth out a conflict, right? This man was convinced that he was ...sound of mind, so who was he to disagree? He was a complete stranger, he didn't know this man at all!
âAll I want to do is dissectâŠâ The captivated look on his face was wiped clean off his face as he heard a sigh escape the man,and he turned to cock his head towards him. Hoping, earnestly that he had heard the man wrong. Yet ...running through his head the possible other words that he could have heard, and eliminating them, the chances of that were growing slimmer by the minute.
He swallowed hard, struggling to maintain his feigned, unphased normalcy but the rising unease in him was truly hard to ignore. "A ...what? I ...don't follow." He bites down on his lip a bit, "I'm not either of those things."Â
