Birthday - Feat. (some of) the Twst Cast!
It's my birthday, and this is my gift to myself! I'm doing this with all of my faves, so not everyone will be here. Most are romantic, but a couple will be platonic (and will be labeled as such) because I love platonic and familial yumeshipping just as much as romantic.
Riddle Rosehearts (platonic)
A birthday with Riddle would be quiet and simple, but also very comforting and cozy. Depending on if you prefer being indoors or outdoors, you would have a nice tea-time setup either in the lounge or out in the rose gardens. You spend time together snacking and talking. If you like tea, Riddle will make sure to have your favorite prepared for you. If you, like me, don't particularly like tea, that's more than fine, and he'll make sure to have a drink you do like. If you ask him really nicely, he'll even consider letting you go play with the hedgehogs and flamingos. What you don't know is that he would've said yes regardless because he absolutely plays favorites.
Trey is not the best at coming up with date ideas, if we're being honest. With today being your birthday, it makes him even more nervous since he knows he has to come up with something good. So, he decides to stick with what he knows and invites you to bake with him. He asks you in advance what your favorite dessert is and preps a recipe he knows you'll love. If you're not a sweets person, he adapts, finding something a bit more savory instead. Normally, Trey doesn't like having others in the kitchen while he works. However, you are special, and he'll always make an exception. If you enjoy baking, he's more than happy to split the work between the two of you, letting you do what you're comfortable with. If you aren't very confident in your abilities, or you just don't want to, he's happy to let you sit on the counter and watch. Since Trey is in his element, he's comfortable enough to let loose a little bit, sneaking the occasional flirty or teasing comment to catch you off guard. When your treats are ready, you spend time eating. If you helped, Trey gives you many compliments on how good everything tastes. He may not be the best at these kinds of things, but it's always very fun to be around him. Plus, you get yummy food, so who cares if he can be a bit awkward sometimes.
Shopping spree!! Cater takes you down to Foothill Town and drags you around to every store he can find. You are not allowed to pay for anything, and he practically shoves his card into your hands before you can argue. His only requirement is that you two have to visit at least one clothing store and have your own fashion montage like in the movies. You two pick out the most ridiculous outfits you can find, making silly poses and taking pictures like you're doing a professional photo shoot. If you give him permission, he will absolutely post your favorite photos as well, using cheesy couples hashtags. To cap things off, he takes you to a cafe, letting you pick out whatever treats and drinks you want. Naturally, he takes pictures of everything to post later, even if he knows he won't eat most of it. You sit and eat and talk, relaxing after spending the whole day running around town. The atmosphere is light and silly and everything a perfect date should be. Cater is also rather touchy, especially when it comes to holding your hand. Barely a moment goes by where your hand isn't in his. Despite all of his teasing and energy, the way he holds your hand is soft and gentle, his own little way of showing how much he loves you.
Even if he doesn't have a lot to spoil you with, Ruggie is still going all out in whatever ways he can. Of course, this includes stealing Leona's wallet to buy plenty of snacks for you to share. After spending the early morning in Sam's shop, purchasing all of your favorites, he makes his way to your dorm, intending to spend the day relaxing with you. He made sure to clear up his schedule for the whole day, all for you. When you let him in, he plops down on your bed, revealing to you his assortment of goodies. Your day is spent lazing around, taking a break from all of the stress of schoolwork and jobs. Right now, it's just you and Ruggie cuddling and eating snacks. It's simple and relatively cheap, but exactly what you both needed. You two joke around, talking about everything and nothing, occasionally stopping to share light kisses. Depending on how playful you're both feeling, there might even be some light playfighting. Since it's your birthday, Ruggie might even consider letting you win. Maybe. He will.
Monstro Lounge date! You're with a man who literally owns an entire restaurant, so why bother going somewhere else when you can get a free meal (and stare into his really pretty eyes)? He clears out a whole VIP section for you... a.k.a. he just brings you to your favorite table and forbids anyone from being seated in the surrounding area. Azul waits on you personally, not trusting anyone else to treat you as well as he could. Or at least that's what he says. Really, he's just jealous and wants all of your attention on him. He lets you order whatever you'd like, and he prepares all of it himself. It's his way of both spoiling you and showing off. Once he's made everything your heart desires, he sits down across from you, watching you lovingly as you enjoy your meal. Please, please remind him to eat something as well, otherwise he will get distracted and stare at you the whole time. It's cute, but he needs food too. Once you finish your meal, Azul practically drags you to his office for some privacy. The two of you cuddle on one of the couches, just relaxing and talking about your day. A quiet end to a perfect day.
A nice, peaceful nature walk with Jade. He takes you to one of his favorite trails, guiding you along. If you are also very into nature, the two of you yap about your favorite plant facts. If you're less experienced in this particular subject, Jade is happy to do all of the yapping, pointing out all of the cool flora around you. This is one of the few times you see him genuinely animated. He happily answers any questions you may have in as much detail as possible. You spend the whole day out, and while you would normally feel exhausted after such a long day of hiking, you instead feel happy to have spent the whole day with your friend.
Absolute chaos is what this date is gonna be. He's getting to your dorm at the ass-crack of dawn, dragging you out of bed for a day of fun. All of your activities are decided in the moment, as both of you know Floyd hates planning in advance. That being said, if there is anything in particular you really want to do, such as going to town, Floyd will gladly follow your lead. For as chaotic and wild as he can be, all Floyd really wants is to see you happy. It's your special day after all, so you should get to decide at least some of the activities. However, at the very end of the day, Floyd will drag you back to his dorm, practically throwing you on his bed before flopping on top of you. Being out all day exhausted him, and now he needs to rest. He practically smothers you in kisses and cuddles , making you laugh and squirm. He's so unbelievably soft with you in moments like these, and it's always the cutest thing ever in your mind.
As per usual, Kalim really, really wants to throw you a whole party. You are so very special to him, and what better way to show that than by celebrating you in the biggest way possible? He spends weeks planning, taking all of your interests into consideration. If you're someone who is more extroverted like him, he's going all out, inviting every person in school. If you're more of an introvert, he will be conscious of that, making sure to keep the guest list smaller than he normally would. Even if parties are normally his thing, he still wants his partner to feel comfortable during their birthday celebration. All of the decorations match your favorite colors, and the foods are all hand-picked based on your favorites. Kalim even gets a crash-course in cooking from Jamil so that he can help make the food, wanting to impress you. Kalim tries to keep it a secret, intending on making it a surprise party, but we all know he's terrible at keeping secrets from you. Still, you decide to humor him, pretending to be completely shocked when you walk into Scarabia on your birthday. You spend the day partying, drinking and talking and even dancing when the mood strikes you. Kalim, for his part, is by your side the entire time, not even bothering to play host. All of his attention is on you, following you around like the most adorable puppy. He is also constantly touching you, whether that be holding your hand or wrapping his arm around your waist. He's always been clingy, but today he's especially so. You wouldn't have it any other way.
Idia will not go outside, even if it is your birthday. Your day together is pretty similar to most of your dates, cooped up inside his room and hanging out. The one thing that is different is that you get to decide on all of your activities within his room if you'd like. He already has all of your favorites on hand, so just pick out any games you want to play or anime you want to watch, and he's more than happy to just chill with you. Maybe, if he's feeling bold, he might even sneak a kiss or two without running away and hiding in a corner. Idia is also happy to do some crafts with you if you'd rather. If you wanna make a cosplay with him, or draw some fanart of your faves, he is more than willing to hand over all of his supplies to you. Overall, it's comfortable and safe, a nice date all things considered.
Spending some quality time together in the forest. You two spend a lot of time there together, so it's only natural Silver would take you there to celebrate your birthday. While Malleus and Sebek did their best to keep Lilia far away from the kitchen, Silver prepared a nice little picnic for you to share on your outing, preparing all of your favorites. He picks you up from your dorm around lunch time, offering you his free arm as you walk your usual path. On the way, the two of you make quiet conversation. He mostly just listens to you speak, content to hear your voice. When you arrive at your spot, Silver sets up the spread he prepared, including a soft picnic blanket to sit on. With everything laid out, you waste no time digging in. Soon enough, as expected, the animals that live in the forest begin to come out, happy to see you and Silver. They approach, some coming to curl up next to you while others immediately try to go for your food. Silver, having expected this, made sure to pack some berries and nuts for them to eat. You spend well into the afternoon sitting around, enjoying the quality time. By the time you decide to pack up for the day, the sun had already begun to set. Naturally, Silver walks you back to the dorm, kissing you gently before taking his leave for the night.
First Years (platonic, romantic Epel)
What was originally supposed to be a nice, relaxing birthday sleepover with Epel, your boyfriend, quickly turned into a chaotic first-year sleepover with all of your closest friends. Ace had found out about your plans after some minor pestering, and he was quick to convince you that the rest of your friends should be allowed to come over as well. At first, you and Epel wanted to say no, wanting to spend your birthday alone, but your friends were persistent, and so you relented. Soon enough, Ace, Deuce, Epel, Jack, Ortho, Sebek, and Grim were all piled together in your dorm. The night is loud and chaotic, but at least you can't say that it's dull. All of you eventually decide to play some games, splitting up into teams (you and Epel, Ace and Deuce, Jack and Sebek, and Ortho and Grim). This, naturally, turns competitive very quickly. Soon enough, however, things begin winding down. Jack and Sebek have strict sleep schedules, so they head to bed early. Ortho heads back to Ignihyde since he needs to charge and can't transport his setup very easily. Ace, Deuce, and Grim try to stay up, but they eventually tire themselves out. The only ones still up and you and Epel, which makes you happy. Finally, you have some alone time with your boyfriend, and even though it's late and you're both tired, you're happy. The two of you head to your room, where you fall asleep together, cuddled up in your bed.
Trein as your dad, spending the day with you on your birthday. Even if he denies it, you are absolutely spoiled rotten by him. Every year without fail, he takes you out, and your sisters will also come along if they're available. Unfortunately for today, both were busy, but you were able to squeeze in a group call with them to start your day. After you finish talking to them, Trein takes you to your favorite restaurant, one you've been going to since you were a kid. You two eat, and for once Trein is not the strict teacher his students know him as. Right now, he's your dad, kindhearted and gentle. He lets you order whatever you'd like (within reason) and even lets you get dessert if you want. Once you finish eating, you two go on a small shopping trip, and he purchases you a couple of things as a gift. Lucius is with you for the day as well, naturally, and he's even kind enough to let you pet him with only some minor sass.
Vargas as a mentor-figure of sorts. You're not the most athletic, and when you first began taking P.E., you half-expected him to single you out as one of the weaker members of your class. However, he's always been patient with you, making sure you got all of your accommodations while also making sure you didn't have to rely on any unnecessary crutches that might be holding you back. Today, your birthday, is hardly any different. While he does not make any special plans with you, as it is a workday and he has classes to teach, he does gift you a present. It's a book filled with some of his favorite recipes, most of which are good for building up your strength. He hands it to you with a smile and a ruffle of your hair, telling you that he hopes you enjoy them as much as he does.
And while I don't have enough ideas to write for them, I also imagine spending your birthday with Che'nya, Neige, and Skully would be quite fun as well. Che'nya is very fun and chaotic, Neige is quiet and calm, and Skully is romantic and sweet.
