I’m hoping to get this printed for my art wall!

The vampire lord lured Riome in with fame and money, promising to make him a famous bard. He weighs the scale in his favor with gold coins, the other scale showing a bleeding heart. Representing human life.

Riome is unimpressed by his honeyed words, having learned it is all a lie.

A snake and songbird are locked in a struggle. The snake has caught the bird, but he himself is also impaled on the iron fence. This represents The Ratcatcher and Riome in their cat and mouse chase.

The level of blood slowly rises, threatening to drown them both.
