Mr. Iwata was a brilliant and dedicated man.  He brought joy and laughter to children and adults alike.  His legacy will continue to live on for generations to come.

“The Triumph of Love”

A truly one of a kind custom rifle designed by Vivian Mueller of the House Mueller Murgenthal in Switzerland. The platform is a Blaser R-93 Conception in .300 Win Mag. The second to the last photo shows the heart-shaped barrel and bullet along with the ruby bead sight. The designer’s intent was to showcase a struggle, hence the many different engraved figures throughout the rifle. Note the “caged” skull behind the buttpad.

The eternal battle between good and evil can be likened to the fight between evil power and the purity of inner freedom. This is a universal theme which mankind has been dealing with since the beginning of consciousness. The bipolarity of the theme is artistically provoking and is the base of the creative and artistic concept behind this rifle. 

Adorned with 24K white and yellow gold, sterling silver, rubies, aquamarines, white diamonds and rare bird’s eye maple wood. It sold in 2008 at auction for about £120,000. If you converted that by taking inflation into account, it would be £148,731 or $234,095. (GRH)

Callout post for rude baby seen at grocery store

I’m calling out a baby (approx. 12–14 months old) from the grocery store due to its rudeness. I’m guessing its age based on appearance, motor skills (atrocious) and whatnot. Anyway, I smiled at this baby and it just stared at me. As soon as I started to move on, though, the baby said “no!” and started giggling when I turned back around. This happened multiple times. The baby’s actions were toxic and manipulative. The baby was also manhandling a package of dried fruit which wasn’t yet paid for (which is quite minor) and was just generally sitting around and not helping.

Absolutely saddened about this. Satoru Iwata was a huge innovator and also an extremely kind, light-hearted man. He was also a legendary programmer for Nintendo. This dude was 80% of my childhood and even impacts my life today. His work will forever live on, and keep impacting future works for many. Rest in peace, Iwata. Thanks for everything.
