I’ve always LOVED reading, but lately I just haven’t had time to actually settle down long enough and read anything other than emails, bills, weekly ads or street signs... 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ Luckily, through Audible, I’ve been able to scratch TWO books of my list for the year! My 1st Audible ever was @gabunion “We’re Gonna Need More Wine” (she was damn sure right) and the third was @tiffanyhaddish “The Last Black Unicorn”. (The second book that I purchased is still a work in progress, but I couldn’t stop listening to my cuz-in-law Gabby & bff T.Had - my self-appointed titles and nicknames for them. 😜😘) I listened to these beautiful, hilarious and amazing women while I commuted to and from work, while doing my hair/housework and when sprawled across the bed drained or curled up on the sofa drinking wine! It always felt like a girlfriend moment because it was them reading or as I felt personally sharing stories from their past with me to strengthen our bond, have a laugh or cry or simply “one up me” on some bs that happened to me that I can now finally look back on and laugh. I am so motivated by them and support them as they sprinkle their magic, glitter and fairy dust everywhere! Before you ask, NO, this isn’t an ad or sponsored by anyone, but when you have something sooooo good that you want others to try, you just share it!
