Happy Trans Visibility Day!! I'm about 5 months in T. Even though I only pass 5% of the time, I'm feeling happier and happier each day. I'm at the beginning of this long journey in becoming myself and it's been amazing so far. I hope all of you are able to pursue your happiness!
Artist Creates Watercolor Paintings on Location and Aligns Them with Actual Landscape
Elena Efremova uses watercolor painting as a unique way to showcase the places she has traveled and lived. Originally from Russia, the artist resides in Marseille, France but is currently in Stockholm, Sweden. No matter her location, though, Efremova takes the time to create detailed renderings of her surroundings and then aligns those paintings with the actual scenery. She snaps a picture of this arrangement, adding a playful, handcrafted touch to what could’ve been an ordinary landscape photo.

I'm angry. All the time. I'm angry that I'm scared to be who I truly am all the time. I'm angry that I feel awkward and small around guys at the gym. I'm so fucking angry that I can't get this needle in my thigh because my hand is shaking so bad I can't keep my hand steady. I'm angry that I the world doesn't work the way I want it to. I can't just wake up and be fine with my body. I'm angry that I live in a world of "cant's" and I'm forcing myself to be blind to the "cans". I'm really angry that I don't have a supportive family. I'm angry that I have to put all my stress and sorrows on my friends shoulders. I'm angry that I can't hold myself up like I use to. I was so much stronger, and now my legs feel like mush and heart is always heavy. I'm angry that I'm angry. I know this will pass, but it's been months and meds aren't helping and even though I keep slapping a smile on my face the rainbow after the storm seems so, so, so far away. To whoever reads this... Thank you. You mean more to me than you'll ever know.
3 months on T and I'm starting to notice some changes: 1. My voice- it squeaks and has gotten deeper. 2. My neck- it's almost an inch thicker. 4. Stubble- but mainly on the right half of my chin. 5. Shoulders- they're getting broader and more defined. 6. Hips- I'm staring to see less curves. I think I've been making good progress at the gym, but my dysphoria has been getting worse lately. I'm not sure exactly why, but it could be caused by my lack of patience. I go to the gym for an hour and expect to have a rock hard bod instantly. Haha.

I'm having an argument with someone who firmly believes that cis men deserve to be paid more than anyone else because "they're strong and lift things". I can't even. Idk if I should cry or pop off.
I haven't been able to go to the gym hardly at all this term. Work and school have been kicking my ass! I've been really hard on myself because I made a lot of plans and goals once I started T and I haven't really been working on any of them. I need to remember that the things you want to last forever don't happen over night. I need to have patience and quit being so hard on myself. Once this week is over I'll be free to workout and start working on the body I've always wanted. Side note: Today is my girlfriend's birthday and I stayed up until midnight (I had to be up at 6) to give her all her presents. Totally worth it!

I'm finally on T! Everything feels great!! And then....my roommate decides to move out without notice, my car breaks down, and now I'm frantic and stressed. I need to remember to count my blessings. I know there are people who are actually suffering and my issues are trivial, but can't things go great for a week? I just wanted to enjoy the start of my transition.
