Boruto straight-up admits he knows how Mitsuki really feels, dropping the “I am your sun” line — basically calling out that Mitsuki’s devotion used to belong to him before all the memory-wipe drama. It’s such an emotionally loaded moment, because instead of fighting fire with fire, Boruto reaches him in this soft, personal way, almost like he’s reminding Mitsuki of their bond. Lowkey romantic undertones, ngl.

Then Boruto tells him he can “shine on his own” but also says he can come back if he ever needs a “sun” again. That whole bit just screams, I’m your anchor and I’ll always be here, but without tying it down too tightly. Leaves the door wide open for future stuff. uwu

Honestly this whole chapter was wild…

The fight wasn’t just about punches, it was about feelings. Mitsuki lashes out, thinking he has to protect Kawaki (his “sun”), but Boruto just shuts him down easily—without actually hurting him. The fact that Boruto chooses words and gentleness instead of violence adds this soft tenderness to the whole scene.

The manga is heavily hinting Mitsuki’s romantic feelings for Boruto, but it refuses to actually say it out loud. Classic. TT_TT
