Writing Story Synopsis with Seven Anchor Scenes

Working Title: It’s always been you

 Inciting  Incident

 Sky wanted to tell Callie about what he feels towards her, but  Sky met this girl named Talitha and he was deceived by her looks.

 Engage  with Conflict

 Sky was hurt because he realizes when talitha came, Cali  started to ignore Sky.

 Midpoint  Reversal

 And Sky felt disappointed because he is really in love with  cali and he started to ignore cali also despite the feelings he felt for cali

 No  way out but through

 Sky finally decided not to talk to Callie. He ignored Callie  for a month and decided to focus on Talitha.

 Dark  Moment

 Sky knew that there is someone starting to adore cali and he  finally decided that there is nothing to do but to let go cali. Sky aims to  accept that him and Cali will come to an end

 Climax

 Sky together with Talitha was very happy at  first as time pass by, Sky started to remnisce their memories of calli. And  there he knows that calli is really the one for him. Calli is only the apple  on his eye.

   When right comes, Sky overthinks all the  things he gave up for calli. If only he did something in order to save their  relationship then calli and him was stable up until now

  Resolution

 Sky made a way in which he can be noticed by Callie, he talked  to Callie and confessed his true feelings towards her. And he did not expect  on what Sky had said to him, Callie said that she also feels the same way  towards him but then Talitha came and she just give them space. Sky was so  happy when he knew about that, he then stop courting Talitha and got his  second chance with Elle.

Character POV:

Being a popular Varsity Player in school is such a very frustrating thing. A bunch of girls will always keep asking for a picture with me every after the game. Btw, Hi I'm Aiden Lucas "Sky" Vasquez. You can call me "Sky" in short. I am such a busy man; I always have training and games in different places. Yeah, being a Player is not that easy. Sometimes you do not have enough time to spend time with your family or friends. I know what's on your mind! HAHA! I don't have a girlfriend yet. Yes, I'm single, but if I like someone, I will immediately tell her. I don't take relationships seriously, why? because I do believe that the right person will come at the right time. Until that day had come, my teacher talked to me and asked me if I can be the leading actor in our movie, and well, I immediately agreed for that time I am not that busy...

Mr. De Guzman: Sky!!! it's good to hear that you agreed in our favor. You will be a great impact in our movie, your charm and intelligence will attract the girls.

Me: It's finee Sir, I am always free for you. Anytime!!!

Mr. De Guzman: That's my boy! Oh, By the way, U will be paired with Ms. Callie.

Me: Oh yes, Callie! Why not? I am sure she will be so shocked when he knew that I am his leading man huh?

*I just want to be honest, yeah, I'm a lil' bit nervous about pairing up with Callie, I don't know every time that she's around, I feel like I'm stupid for sometimes I become speechless every time I see her. *

Our several shoots had started, every day the old me, from being so brave and enthusiastic Infront of the people, now? I feel so shy and very silent for Callie is always around me.

Callie: Hey, Mr. Busy!!! Hah! Mr. De Guzman did convince you to play the role.

Me: Yeah why not? You are my pair, should I neglect that offer?

Callie: Such a jerk! Come on, our shoot will start in a few seconds...

Whhyyyy? I don't know why from all the girls that I met, this one is reallly different, I always feel so comfortable around her. She seems so perfect to me... Urghhhh Am I falling in love to her? is this the right time?

If I have to choose one genre that is related to my life it would be Action /Adventure 

Because as you see me, my personality fits this kind of genre. I love to know and explore things that I have not yet encountered in my life that may affect me positively or negatively the important thing is I learned and stood up when I’m down. My family also treats me to be an action / adventurous that is because I’m eldest in my family and they always give me an advice to be more mature and be a open minded in everything that is coming in our lives like circumstances and struggles that I should  handle it smoothly and with confidence. And lastly, I would say being adventurous does not mean you are always in a happy go lucky side but being adventurous is a personality that give us growth, well determined mind and a strong man to face new challenges that may be encounter in the future.

REFLECTION: Being a Creative writer, you must be imaginative in everything that you write. And I learned a lot in the crewri subject. Just like how to rhyme words and how to write poems. And I also learned different types of writing like poem or poetry. And not only that, but everything also in a person's personality. Because when you are good at writing you are also good at your personality. And the good thing about this subject is that it always writes and it takes to a good interact and delivered your message. Like for example you are looking for a job or making a story or poetry. This subject might be one of my favorite.

We had aching fights,

I have many reasons to leave

But never hesitated to stay

 There are times that I ask myself,

 Will you still love me?

When you have your reasons as well to leave me?

We seek safety for each other

 1.    POET’S BACKGROUND IN WRITING THE PIECE

-      It is all based on my true love story. Because I do believe that if you have already experienced this kind of situation then you can relate all your experiences to your piece. I am writing this for my inspiration in life. It is all about me and her. And it is all about not giving up on some that you love. No matter how hard the situation is, you must hold on and never let go. If you truly love someone then you must be ready for all the consequences that you might face.

 2.    THEME/CENTRAL MESSAGE OF YOUR PIECE

-      The central theme of my poem here is all about “love”. It is all about fighting all the odds that may hinder your love for each other. If you truly love someone then you are ready to make sacrifices even though it will hurt you. You need to fight all the battles in love, you do not have to just easily gave up on someone that you love. Even when you are both at the point of giving up? you always must think about where you both started. If you truly love someone then you must stay being positive in all things that may be the reason to make you broke both.

 3.    POEM ANALYSIS

- Rhyme Scheme

The rhyme scheme that I used is Ballad. For is a lyric poem that follows the rhyme scheme ABABBCBC.

 - Rhythm

My poem’s rhythm is Trochee. For it shows there that the two syllables especially the first one is stressed, and the second is unstressed.  

 - Structure and Form

The first, second, third and fourth stanzas are the beginning of my poem piece. The fifth and sixth stanzas are the ending of my poem piece.

 - Tone/Voice

The tone is realistic and serious. It really describes the poem through it’s tone and voice.

 - Imagery

First of all, I used visual for the background of my poem which is related to my piece.The image of my background is also pointing out the reality that my poem means. And I also used auditory, For in my poem it states there that “we had aching fights”. You can hear the all the pain that the poem have.

 - Figurative Language

The figurative language that I used is the Metaphor. For I, the poet uses metaphorical words to explain my feelings and the feelings of people related to it. And I believe that, love poetry is not necessarily a poem about romantic love, romance, marriage, and devotion; it may be a totally different problem. And because of this phrase, “I know that these trials won't separate us”.

University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos became a big part of my life. I will always be grateful for all the memories that forever I will treasure. But, I now look at the things I could have done better and instead of beating myself up about it. Since I can't turn back time, I try to remember to ask myself, "what was this experience sent to me to teach me?" I think specifically about what I will do better next time, then I actively look for moments to practice for the next time. #ProudtobeaUNORIAN  #CREWRIisLOVE

JOURNAL ENTRY #2

                            Annabel Lee

                         Edgar Allan Poe

Annabel Lee is a poem written by Edgar Allan Poe which deals with the subject of pure love after the person whom you love is gone. The major themes in the poem are love and death.

         The mood and tone of this poem is sad and dark. It is consisting of six stanzas, three with six lines, one with seven, and two with eight, and a rhyme pattern that has a slight difference in each other. Poe referred to it as a little bit of ballad since it uses repetition of words and phrases purposely to create a mournful effect. The poem allows the person to express gratitude and love felt when Annabel was still alive until she died. Aside from that the author used various literary devices to enhance the impact of the poem, in his case, he used figures of speech.

         The figures of speech used are Assonance, Imagery, Personification, Alliteration, Symbolism, Allusions and Enjambment. Assonance are seen used as it is the repetition of vowels in the same line such as the sound of a and i in “It was many and many a year ago” and “And their maiden she lived with no other thought”. Poe also used imagery to make the users imagine his specified scenarios, cold and desolate place, “In a kingdom of the sea” and “in her tomb by the sounding sea”. In the line “the wind came out of the cloud by the night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee”, personification was used, as if the wind is a human and capable of killing another person. Alliteration is the reputation of consonant sounds in the same line such as l sound in “than to love and be loved by me” and w, the, l sounds in “But we loved with a love that was more than love”. The author also used Symbolism wherein the “sea” is the symbol of evil and darkness, and the “stars” both symbolizes the speaker’s lover and her stunning beauty. There was also Allusions which is used in the tenth line, “seraphs in heaven” which alludes to the Bible when it degrades the angel to the level of demon. Lastly, the Enjambment which refers to the continuation of a sentence without the pause beyond the line such as: “And this maiden she lived with no other thought; Than to love and be loved by me”.

         The poem was indeed intended to express the love to Annabel. The tone, diction, style, and figures of speech helped the author delivered his poem to be felt by his readers.

The thing that makes me a creative writer is through my experiences, that mold me on how to express myself through art and creativity. I owe all my creativity from myself. The fire of art inside me is what makes me do it. The fire in expressing myself through writing with creativity.

1.    What is CREATIVE WRITING?

-      Creative writing is any writing that technical forms of literature or journalistic writing, and a form of writing where creativity is at the forefront of its purpose through using imagination or creativity or imagination in order tell a story through strong written visuals with an emotional impact like poetry or poem or short story.

 2.    Why study Creative Writing?

-      Because if you study creative writing you increase your experience in writing and you learn something and other things will you apply when you write a poet and You become comfortable when writing in and about everyday life, but has also been proven to improve language learning

 3.    Why is being creative important for survival in this post truth world?

-      Being creative is very important for survival in this post truth world because in this present world creativity helps your mind to think positive ways how to survive when crisis comes for example on this time we are facing pandemic crisis the covid 19 we do research how to overcome this by using proper PPE and do physical distancing and most of all hand-washing. Secondly our economy is now down we find ways how to survive our family  financially by doing online business. To summarize to this question being creative helps us to survive not only financially intellectually but most of all giving us confidence when bigger crisis comes in the future and I thank you.

 4.    Do you think that creativity involves putting your heart and soul into your work? Or is it more like letting your mind flow freely to witness the surprising results of your actions?

-      Yes, it involves because if you put your heart and soul into our work of creative writing, we will automatically flow freely enough to discover new turns in innovation Because mind is a creation.

5.    Do you believe that it is important to be accepted by others as being creative or is just doing what you love to do enough to justify your work? Explain.

-      Yes, because if you’re creative person many people will admire you. Because of your creativity

  Writing Imaginatively

Write a sentence or two to explain what is happening. 

 1. "Don't move," he whispered.

- Stop you don’t need her. You don’t deserve that kind of love. You deserve better

2. It was the opposite of love at first sight.

- Hate at first sight.

 3. The scream sounded far away.

- She/he scream because of having strong emotions such as fear, excitement or pain.

 4. It got harder every time.

 - The stronger the storm the harder it sails.

 5. If it hadn't rained that night, everything would have turned out differently.

- If hit didn’t rain that night, maybe the crops will not grow.

JOURNAL ENTRY #1

If I compare myself to a kind of thing, there is one thing that really suit my life. A box of crayons, comes into different shades, hue and colors from the brightest color to the darkest. Like crayons there are times I experience the darkest shade of life, having the struggle coloring my canvas and experiencing some lifeless work of art, but my isn't all about the darkest color. My shade of art always stays in the brightest side, where I influence some people my bright mood, I can fill some color to people who are completely empty. I am someone you can on, even your darkest times I can be a colorful crayon that can the view of your colorless life.

At the top of that I am also a crayon because God has given me an outline of my life and I am the only one who can color it, where in the end I can see that my progress in coloring my life is a total success. I create my world, my life and myself by the colors I paint in my canvas which is my life.
