Somehow, Mamoru had already managed to piss this guy off. He wasn’t quite sure how–but, whoever this person was sure didn’t seem agreeable. Well, it wasn’t like there was anyone else around.

AS IF it isn’t bad enough that there are men out there who seek to exploit women – the reminder that there are ones who might even think to hurt them has Benio enraged before she even so much as approaches him face to face. The thought that she might have the WRONG GUY, that, in spite of his intimidating appearance Kasanoda isn’t the one to blame for the threats she’s heard spreading about the area, doesn’t so much as cross her mind, so consumed is she by the possibility that he is, and the righteous anger that this incites.

HIS father had been making sure that Kasanoda had a reputation --one that fit for the heir of a syndicate-- and the proper training --as to how to be most intimidating-- since he had been tiny and so he it wasn’t like he wasn’t USED to people finding him scary. But even if he was too shy to admit it he was still rather GENTLE at heart, and so when a woman came up to him and YELLED he was still very thrown off guard. His nerves spiked around him as he swallowed, trying to gain composure through his fear of the intimidating woman and the sudden surprise of it all.
