This comic is a lot more raw and has a roughdraft-y feel to it because, well, it kind of is LOL;;; but this has been on my mind for a few days and I wanted it out as soon as possible, because I do not know one person who has gone through abuse (particularly manipulation in this case) mentally or emotionally unscathed, nor came out of it with their identity and/or their capabilities intact. It’s all an ugly trick, a way for the abusers to feed off of your uncertainty for their own personal gain of power. Even when you break away from the abuser there’s still a residue that lingers afterwards and it takes some fighting back to get rid of it. As we all will experience some form of manipulation or belittlement one way or another in life, never forget that you are your own person and not a side character in your own life. You call the shots, you make the rules. Don’t let anyone stand in your way of living your life to the fullest. If anyone would like to participate in an activity I would love it if you guys shared with eachother what your favorite qualities are about yourself and what makes you powerful, okay? Whether it be just one word or an entire paragraph about what makes you special, I will gladly share it! There’s not enough personal positivity shared about ourselves and I want to encourage people that it’s ok to love yourself and your amazing qualities!! Thanks so much for reading guys <3

You just go for it! Take it at your own pace and try your best to not be impatient with yourself! Your level and speed of growth might be faster/slower than someone else’s, so focus on your own path and let the journey take you to amazing places and opportunities! There’s obvs going to be obstacles in the way of what you want to do, but the greater the accomplishment requires even greater challenges, though the real question is if you’re willing to take the plunge and try anyways?

As this is comic provides an overly simplified suggestion, please note that everybody works differently and you may have to adjust these rules accordingly to your lifestyle! I tried to make it flexible enough to be applicable for every individual, tho I still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface on how to arrange your day to day chores tbh, so I’m not sure if I’ll even keep this up for long? orz I hope this’ll at least help with understanding the general idea. Envy and jealousy can sneak up on people and it can cause some serious damage emotionally and even physically! Stop comparing yourself to others, because no life is exactly the same - we each have our own obstacles and challenges to accomplish. So when you start to think the grass is greener on the other side, think about your own goals, nurture and take care of your side of the yard, because the more blessings you count in your life, the more beautiful flowers will flourish!!

This has been something that has been bothering me for the past few years, every time I encounter someone who’s just started as an artist, they put themselves down because they’re intimidated by artists who are more experienced. Intimidation is something that every artist has (or will) encounter in their lives, and they need to pull through that fear in order to grow as an artist. Take that intimidation and be inspired about it. What makes it intimidating? What makes their work look so unique? That’s where your learning opportunistic moments will occur, you find those reasons and you create something new out of all that you’ve learned! I believe that anyone, ANYONE, can become an artist. It takes dedication and determination, but I promise you that drawing is one of the most rewarding art forms I’ve ever experienced. You will always learn something new with it, therefore, the fun never stops!
