Hello, so I'm pretty new to this fandom. was this moment in the comic finally like confirmation that spy is scouts father? cause i've been under the impression that its just been like a really popular headcanon until now. Or was there something else.

HISTORY TIME !Though I’ve only been around since Summer 2012, myself. 

I think Spy being Scout’s dad has been a rumor since Meet the Spy (2009). Since, there was a voice line in game (as more of a joke, but fuel none the less) and a few mentions in a few of the comics over the years:

^ Spy obviously has a has a thing for her at least. The ending of Meet the Spy can contest to this, too. (issue #2)

^ Scout has a “bad dream”. (issue #3)

^ Blurry, but I’m p sure it says “How to Beat a DNA Test” (Blood Money)

^ Even Heavy jokes about it. (issue #4) 

and due to Sniper’s reaction in the recent issue, I’m going to assume that everyone, but Scout himself, know. 

So Valve’s 8 year conspiracy is finally proven true.
