If you can share the answers without spoiling the reboot, have any of the Maalja races changed significantly or all they pretty much the same?
I hope to make updated info sheets again but yeah-
For the most part they are the same. I'd say the biggest changes are that every race now just loses their magical powers if someone else takes their amulet (no more controlling over). We saw this with RGB and Ruuna. And for Glasses, it's now more that every individual of each element has same base powers, no more unique power for everyone (cos it was though to come up stuff for everyone). I now go with logic that's similar to Avatar. Same base powers for all for the most part, but one can train to specialize in something. Like, every wind glass can learn to control clouds like Whinter, but you need to train for it.
BUT- A big but. There are some elemental powers (and likely other magic race skills) that you cannot learn and are more of a result of certain families and their gene pools having access to ample amount of nectar through out their family history. Thus stronger powers emerged. Like the healing water. You have to be born with that skill. Not every Water Glass can learn it. Cyanthia's family having freezing fire is also an example of an unique evolved power. (this lore bit does let me keep giving certain characters cool unique powers but no need to make it for everyone. Also gives some juicy history and lore)
