Something I have actually learnt over the past week after I went to church for the first time in years on Sunday is that. We are not alone. I know a lot of people experience depression, sadness, loneliness, and a lot of other things trust me I know. Iāve been exposed to this kind of thing my entire life. Iām not saying what Iāve gone through is likeĀ āTHE WORST EVERā Iām just saying that I understand. I understand what it means to be depressed, having the constant feeling of being alone. Itās horrible. Something that I truly believe Ā that has helped me and is still helping me is Church. The Bible. God.Ā
Just feeling this connection and bond with our Heavenly Father is absolutely indescribable.Ā
About the last few months Iāve felt like this dark cloud has been constantly over me, following me and growing everyday. It was a really difficult time for me. I stopped going to class, my anxiety got so bad I couldnāt even talk to my close friends properly, I bottled everything inside. Everyday was a struggle till last week. When someone very important to me told me toĀ ārely on godā so I did. I started reading the bile everyday, praying everyday for everyone I loved and cared about and I felt something. I asked the Lord to give me the strength to get through this difficult time and he has. I am just so thankful. So blessed to have the Lord, Our heavenly Father, God in my life to guide me and be my strength. He has opened my eyes and made me realize I am not alone. I feel truly blessed everyday I wake up and I thank God, I thank him for everything he has done for me and everyone I love and care about.Ā
I was in a really dark place but those three words changed my life. I feel so much better Iām genuinely happy. Things that use to bother me donāt anymore. I know that God is good. He loveās us all. He has a plan for each and everyone of us. He sent his only son to Earth to build a bridge for us to join and be with our Father. Something I learnt in Church is that, we always go back to where we originated from. We came from God so when itās our time we will go back to god. No one is perfect.Ā
I just wanted to share this and hopefully it helps someone.Ā
If your feeling down, lonely or sad. Pray, or think about going to church. Just try it. Trust me youāll feel it you really will :)
