She walked after them, slowly gaining a bit of impulse, just following the male’s pace. The girl nodded at his response, still smiling at him. “But still, thank you once again.” Her gaze turned to the dog that was a bit ahead of the duo. Soon as she heard the young male introduce himself and ask her name, her eyes widened a bit at the last thing he said.
’Did he… just call me cutie? What?!’ Her cheeks flushed like hell at her own thought. Not that she doesn’t like to be complimented, but especially when some males of the family called her like this, she always thought of it as a joke. “Hey, wait for me!” After the mometary distraction, the brunette ran to them again, now walking besides the boy. “Pleased to meet you, Alex. You can call me Gabie.”
The dog seemed to be having his fun on the run, and to be correct, Alex would like to use his wings right now, but having a human body has its bad things. Once he stepped his feet on this world, his wings faded away, and the oddest thing was that he could feel them when he jumped or when he was in a major rush. He ould feel his body getting lighter and lighter, but the sudden gravity weight would bring him back to reality. Seeing her blush made him smile, walking at a normal pace again.
“Aww, aren’t you really a cutie?” – he said, teasing her, while looking at the brunette – “Well, I’m charmed to meet you Gabie.” – a sudden excited bark made him turn his head to the four legged animal. “That’s it, we are close already. A few more doors, and we’re there..”
“Oh? I take it London is a dangerous place then…?” Luca, who had never been off of the island before, just had to ask to sate the curiosity in his head. It was honestly a little hard for him to try and picture a dangerous place anywhere else for him. Really hard.
“There’s no need to thank me. I’m simply doing my job, Miss,” it was an automatic response, but it was one all the same. The attendant simply continued on—though had to stop to take a proper look at the girl. And laugh slightly. Only because he seemed to be forgetting about names a lot lately. “Ahahaha~ It seems we both forgot. Well, all things considered, it’s probably understandable,” he trailed off into a slight chuckle. “My name is Luca. And like I said, there’s no need to thank me.”
“It’s not an overall dangerous country to live in, but it has some difficult areas…” – she said, scratching the back of her neck.
“Your job or not, you helped me get out of that situation without a scratch, so I guess thanking you isn’t that much.” – Alexis said with a small wink – “Nice to meet you Luca.”

“Heheh.~ That’s correct!” He exclaimed, pointing his finger up. When he heard that she was interuppting his reading, Oz simply shook his head.
“Ah, no. It’s okay.~” Waving his hand, he reassured her that it was alright. In fact, he was just finished with this volume, and now he had to return it to the library to get the next one. “I was already done with this book, anyways. It would be my pleasure to assist you, Alexis. You’re not the first, and most certainly not the last visitor to wander upon this place.” Oz chuckled softly, scratching his head. “But no worries! It’s no trouble at all.~”
“Wow…” – was the only she could murmur – “Nice..”
“Ahh, I’m glad.. I hate to interrupt people’s affairs over something so futile…” – she said with a small sigh – “I keep getting lost, no idea why.. I used to have a god sense of directions, but now, it seems that I close my eyes and land in a place that I’ve never heard of..”
“Small and snug thanks to the size of the town, yes?” Luca gave a soft chuckle. It was funny how he could actually manage to understand just what it was that she meant by that. “Yes. We’re the people who make sure that everything on the island runs smoothly and keep it safe. I suppose we’re like vigilantes in that case…”
“Oh, they’re not mobsters. Well—not that type at least. But I’ll be glad to accompany you then. Follow close, Miss, that way you won’t get lost,” he motioned with one hand for the woman to follow.
She nodded, with a smile. “Yes, it was exactly because of that!” – she left a small giggle pass her lips. “Ahh, we need something like that back in London, the streets are getting more and more dangerous there..”
Following him, she brushed the hair from the shining blue eyes. “Humm… I see.. Well then, thank you.” – she said closing up the step to meet his pace. “I think I haven’t presented myself yet, I’m Alexis. Thank you for all the help!”
During the moment at which the animal turned to him, Gabie stared at the male for a second or two, seeming to notice something different about him. But what was it? Listening to him once again, she looked sadly at the dog. “I-I see…” After the petting given by the young male, she crouched to the ground and released the little animal from her arms. At the moment she heard his words again, golden orbs seemed to shine for a minute. “Can you? Please, this will be a big help!” The girl managed a big smile on her lips, then hearing an excited barking from the tiny one.
Noticing a certain distance, she ran after them in a clumsy way. “Aye, aye!” When she arrived at the same pace as the boy, The Star holder sighed, straightening herself. “Ah, thank you for the help.” She blushed even more. “And forgive me for my lack of politeness. I didn’t ask what’s your name.”
The small dog was walking in front of them, but stopped when the angel stopped too, waiting for the girl. When she finally reached them, they restarted walking, the boy with both hands behind his neck. “Don’t worry, I have a soft spot for animals.” And humans. And plants. And pretty much everything else.
Suddenly the animal started running, thing that made Alex run after him. Turning around, he kept running on his back, and smiled at her. “I’m Alex! And you cutie?”

Alexis yawned at the eay hour of the morning. “Why do you make me do this, on my only day off?“ the girl groweled while walking down the street--well at least the angel was walking, she was more dragging her feet.
“Ah, come on Al, you know that you like it as much as I do!“ the boy skirmed, with a gentle pat on her back “Meh...“ she knew Alex was right, the best breakfast around was served on the ‘Who‘s there?‘ inn.
He continued to stand where he was for the moment while looking at the clearly lost male. Though, if he had found his way here, how could he be lost in the first place? Gilbert wouldn’t understand this at all. He had a run-in with so many lost people and it just irked him so much to think that they could seriously get lost when clearly they had found their ways here. Seeing how he knew every single street around here like the back of his hand, he couldn’t easily understand the problems of those who didn’t live around here at all.
Finally after a moment with eyebrows creasing inward, he stepped up toward the other male, a complete stranger who still spoke up to him for some help. Why should Gilbert help him? The male might be lost, but that doesn’t mean that he has to help him does it? No. Plus this is someone who must be someone who at least knows where he is — if he’s saying he might have wondered too far. You can’t just easily go from one town to a next without realizing it.
“You must know where you are at least. You couldn’t have just accidentally wandered from one town to another without even realizing where you are,” the rather grumbled rather annoyed by this matter. “You’re in Reveille,” blunt answer with a twinge of annoyance behind those words.
Realizing that the man was annoyed by his call for help, the angel’s smile quickly faded, and turned into a straight line. Of course this stranger had no obligation with him and Alex had understood that; not everyone likes lost strangers. I should have known better than this. Maybe there’s something wrong with me… He looked up and with a strict posture, placed both hands in front of him, while he waved them slowly. “I’m sorry, you’re right, of course.”
Hearing the tone that those words were spoken, he sighed slightly. I guess this guy’s guardian is on vacations, or is completely blind.. “Thank you sir, I’ll be on my way now.” – Alex said, passing the man. He placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled, realizing it shortly after. Like every other angel, when he touches a living being, human or not, a wave of ease and happiness would run towards their body; the remembrance of good moments on their life would always cross the minds of the ones he touched. He turned right, disappearing from his sight.

“Yep! This mansion belongs to the Vessalius family.” This girl, she was pretty cute, despite the fact that she’s never been here before. Well, it’s not everyday Oz gets a female visitor like this.
“Nice to meet you, Alexis! I’m Oz Vessalius.~” Standing up from the bench, he closed his ‘Holy Knight’ novel. Boy, he had some catching up to do with that book series. “You’re lost, you say? Do you need an escort? I’d be glad to show you the way.~”
“Nice to meet you Oz!” – suddenly, blue orbs blinked several times – “Wait, that means you’re the heir of this house?!”
She looked to his hand, only to see him close a book whose name was ‘Holy Knight’ - “Oh, I’m sorry, I interrupted your reading..” – she seemed troubled, Alexis hated to retrieving people from what they were doing – “But yes, I am lost… And I have no idea where I am, so I would like that very much, if you’re not busy, of course..”

“So this kid’s looking for ya, huh?” Alice asked, as they both spotted a bench to sit on for the time being. “He knows about everything, you say? That’s interesting.”
“Yeah!” She said between bites of her meat. “It can’t be helped. I didn’t have breakfast.” Truthfully, Alice had overslept again, only to see Oz and Gilbert out of the Rainsworth household. Sharon told her that it had something to do with the Vessalius Estate or whatnot…Alice didn’t understand why she wasn’t invited. But once she sees the two, she’ll demand answers.
“Yeah, he’s always worried for me; he’s like my guardian angel.” – she said with a small wink and a laugh. Not like, he really is… Seeing the bench, she smiled and sat, looking up at Alice. “Yes, you can ask him anything you want, I’m sure he knows it.”
“You’re that hungry because you missed breakfast?” – she was rather surprised, seeing her eat.
Leo began to protest when Alexis grabbed three more books but closed his mouth when blood began to circulate through his arm again.
“Thanks” He said with a light laugh.
“This once was the Nightray manor” Leo said motioning with his free arm. “No one lives here now except my servant Vincent and I. It’s a bit of a ways from London. Did you come here with your brother Alexis?”
She smiled, walking at his side. "No problem." Alexis could tell that his tone was a very happy one, but she chose not to intrude on the matters she knew nothing about - "Ah, I see.."
Her breath got stuck the throat and her smile faded slightly, the chin dropping with a bittersweet expression on her face. "No.. I didn't came with him.. He..." - Alexis looked to the side, and carried on walking, the hair falling on her face - "He died a couple of years ago, on a war.."
