New Me

I am yet constantly struggling to find my footing in the virtual world. Being off of social media for so long, I feel like someone out of place in time when i log onto these forums. Have I let technology escape me this much to where I don't know how to even begin to make a friend online or even say hey. It could come with ever looming distrustful thoughts with fears of the unknown, but, quite frankly I am over the fear of rejection once I step into this virtual world.

Will this world be okay with my quirkiness - I often ask myself. My viewpoint often being different from those around me, can sometimes I feel be triggering to those who don't want to hear an opinion other than their own.

Living in a time where opposition to hive thought is almost a societal death sentence, if you don't agree with the masses you will be shunned. But ultimately its often the dissonance to make the changes in the world, not the poople afraid to speak. Just going along with the usual order.

How can we change if we often just assimilate to what has always been. As I write this today, I am stepping into a new phase of my life, one where I become a dissonance to my own rules and beliefs. Stepping into a new realm of myself and I hope you enjoy my journey ! If you feel the same be sure to share
