As the Goddess of the harvest and fertility Phasma knows many who pray to her. One day a new priestess enters her temple and Phasma is floored by not only Rey’s beauty but her devotion. One day Rey comes into the temple upset, praying to Phasma’s statue, begging for guidance pulling Phasma to comfort the object of her desire.
Phasma has been uninspired and disillusioned with the haute couture fashion world until she meets Rey, an editorial model who never does runway shows until she meets Phasma and watches how the clothing she made specifically for her moves.
Rey is an intern to Gwen Phasma, a cut throat political consultant. Gwen has a hard time keeping assts but when Rey walks into her office she sees something in her.

Reysma AU:
Mermaid Rey and butch pirate captain Phasma.
They would start off hating one another due to the fact that Rey picks off her sailors— dragging them to a murky grave, and Phas catches her in one of her nets, but slowly grow more and more fond of one another.
Phas eventually starts to bring Rey pretty... and stolen... jewelry made on land, and Rey brings Phas pretty shells from the sea and whatnot.
Ultimately, to Phasma’s surprise, she finds Rey in human form, asleep on her makeshift bed one night.

argument: captain phasma’s armor is supposed to look hot. but, this is the crucial thing, it looks hot from the point of view of the character herself, and makes perfect sense in the context of the story.
“Phasma had the armor polished in chromium, which had been salvaged from a Naboo yacht that had once belonged to Emperor Palpatine of the Galactic Empire, the First Order’s precursor.”
phasma has spent like all her life in the first order, as a storm trooper. you ask any storm trooper ‘what would be the sexiest possible modification to your armor’ and none of them are going to say ‘cut a boob window’ they’re gonna say ‘plate it with something HARDCORE’.
after they finish high-fiving, they will probably add, ‘AND STICK A CAPE ON.’
