there’s a familiar sense of HATRED running through henry’s veins at the sight of the curly-haired boy sitting across the room from him. the blond tore a page from his notebook and crumpled it together--- TOSSING it right at stan’s head to catch his attention. a devilish smirk appeared on his features as he slowly dragged his thumb across his throat in hopes of sending a CLEAR message to the loser’s club member. he then mouthed the unsettling words,  ❛ you’re so DEAD--- ❜

henry’s clearly had WAY too much to drink as he’s stumbling around the front porch away from the party---  ❛ i lost my cup. ❜ that’s what the gang leader keeps repeating as he continues searching for more alcohol to consume. blue hues blink a couple of times as he FOCUSED on the brunette who was standing right in front of him.  ❛ hey, you look kinda pretty tonight... ❜ ( a drunk mind speaks a SOBER heart. ) a loud HICCUP along with a burp escaped from his lips as he nearly lost his balance again.

henry inhaled SHARPLY as blue hues watched the newcomer like a hawk. he’d seen her WANDERING around town like a weirdo, but hadn’t had the chance to talk to her just yet. now was his chance, ❛ if you keep heading in that direction, you’re gonna hit NEIBOLT street and unless you’re interested in fucking junkies, i’d turn back now. ❜ vulgarity was practically second nature to henry bowers as a devilish SMIRK appeared on his features.

henry rushed down the hallway until he was walking alongside pacifica--- a SMIRK lighting up his features as he reached into his pockets. ❛ i’m sure you thought i’d forgotten what today was, but— i didn’t. ❜ a necklace dangled between thin fingers, ❛ i stole a LOT of lunch money to buy you this, so happy anniversary. ❜ although he was trying to play it COOL on the outside, his heart was pounding at the prospect that they’d been together for over a year now.

IT (2017) - Sc. 132 “Henry and Bullies wait Outside” (Extended Scene)

PAZ.

His fingers in her hair, his mouth pressed to hers, Pacifica runs her fingers up his back, hands coming to rest at his neck and fingers lace behind him. He pulls away for mere moments to pull off his shirt and she resists the urge to whimper at the loss of his warmth. He’s back soon enough, mouth hot on her neck as she runs her hands over his back again. She can feel the raised skin of his scars and rage coils in her immediately. Who would hurt him? She knew he was mean, he got in fights and hurt other people so surely they’d get him back. But these didn’t feel like scars from any normal fight she’d seen. She finds a fresher injury and he moves off of her, pulling away like she was the one who had inflicted it. She sits up, watching him sit there and breathe. They stay in silence for what feels like ages. Then he moves to go. “No,” her voice firm. She reaches out, tilts his face to look at her. Her eyes are soft. “Stay.” She takes one of his hands in hers, holding him tightly. “Please.” She wants to demand answers, wants to know who would dare lay a finger on him. She wanted to find this person and tear them apart. With all the new, creepy things in Derry, Maine, Henry felt like the only safe thing. Which was odd considering she’d known for an absolute fact that he wouldn’t have minded carving her up with his knife when they’d first met. “You don’t have to tell me anything,” she says slowly, reaching and taking his other hand in hers. “But I don’t want you to leave, either.”

henry was silent for what felt like FOREVER as blue hues stared down at his hands--- which were holding onto hers. he began gently tracing his thumb across her hand, admiring the softness of her skin. he wanted to tell her EVERYTHING--- but, was at a loss for words. if his father’s abuse was spoken aloud, it wouldn’t be just his problem anymore and he couldn’t INVOLVE paz in this dangerous situation. butch would go out of his way to make her life a living hell in any way possible--- and henry wouldn’t allow that. the less she knows, the BETTER. ❛ don’t worry, i won’t leave you--- ❜ there was a seriousness to his tone as he leaned over to press his lips against her forehead. it SCARED henry how much he was beginning to care about paz--- he never allowed himself to rely on anybody else until now. in a strange way, he felt SAFE and secure with the other teenager, despite their rocky beginnings. ❛ don’t worry about the injuries... they’re from doing stupid things with my gang. ❜  ( lies, lies, LIES. ) he felt so transparent, but that’s the only explanation he was willing to give. ❛ want to grab something to eat?? i’m sure there’s a diner around that’s still open. ❜ it was an obvious DIVERSION, but henry was beginning to feel weak from hunger ( probably due to the heavy partying that ensued earlier in the night... )
