Totally agree with the WAG statement. Honestly what are this brands even doing?!????? Why would you give a platform to women that have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the sport aside from their partner being in that world! Ridiculous to even say. That’s the problem formula 1 has these days attention is drifted to the drivers personal life & giving spotlight to the person they’re sleeping with kinda like it’s some sort of trashy reality show 🤦‍♀️

While completely ignoring actual female drivers never acknowledging F1 academy or their story 0 coverage/ magazine/ brand deals or interviews to them that is BATSHIT CRAZYYY

yes. i have always been baffled how these so called wags make a living out of literally just being with a man. aren’t you ashamed to only be known as someone’s gf? i would be. don’t you have your own life, name, talent? look at alexandra - posing for vogue, the rhode deal, hosting an event with hailey bieber all because she’s ms. leclerc.

if the organisers wanted the event to get attention, because the truth is that’s the only thing fangirls care about these days - the drivers’ personal lives, then maybe invite the wags but invite the actual women of f1 too you know. those women actually have cool stories to share - laura mueller is literally making history, hannah schmitz is one of the best if not the best red bull employee, saved their ass so many times like c’mon..

but they obviously don’t actually care about the women of f1 they just want attention for their brands.

an event celebrating “the women of f1” was organised in miami a few nights ago.. and instead of inviting the actual women of f1 (laura mueller, hannah schmitz, the f1a girls etc.) they invited.. the “wags”??? more specifically, kelly piquet, rebecca donaldson and corceiro?? 🤣 yeah. nothing else to say. maybe one day…..
