Hello. I won't tell you my Roblox username, nor my exact join date. I will, however, say that I've been part of its player base since its early years, even if it is on and off.
I am angry and disappointed by what the company behind this platform has allowed it to become, more so as public safety becomes increasingly nonexistent. For this reason, this account is made to provide Roblox-related protest and/or boycott resources, and other related functions.
I have a File Garden repository that contains resources needed for either protests, boycotting, or both. Unfortunately, T-shirt graphics now cost 10 Robux to upload each, and I don't recommend uploading at this time. Use posters instead.

Regarding Safety Concerns at the Roblox Developer Conference
The first wave of invites have been sent to developers and content creators for this upcoming Roblox Developer conference (RDC) and Roblox Innovation Awards (RIA), which is scheduled for September 10th-12th, 2026, at San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, California.
With that in mind, however, an alleged sexual predator was allowed to put significant harm to a fellow attendee; and not only that, got his victim falsely banned from last year's event with the help of his top development/support circle. This alone should deter some, if not all current and future attendees, because reputation-marring incidents, let alone one involving a felony being committed brings worry to safety among them.
Most of you should know what I'm talking about, but to those who have just heard of this: Here's the link to a post archiving a series of controversies leading up to said incident, and the resulting fallout from the abuse survivor's exposure of their abuser's actions. Browse at your own risk, since it covers triggering topics.
Even if Roblox Corporation has the right to not comment on any issue related to events that they host (despite it being the wrong thing to do under normal circumstances), the fact that such a possible criminal conduct occurred is worrying, regardless of how often it happened or otherwise is already cause for reasonable concern.
Roblox Corporation should take initiatives to vet who they invite more thoroughly, lest a similar incident, if not worse, will happen again. Knowing how they handle accusations and civil court disputes over allowing criminals to exploit and abuse their own user base on their platform, however, there is much doubt to be had.
Roblox Corporation Officially Killing Off Video Game Development As A Hobby, A Means of Side Income, and Beginner Friendly Game Development Platform

While this update is framed as a safety measure–and rightfully so, if only partially, concerns about it still make their case.
For starters, the new game publishing requirements threatens severe limitation, if not complete collapse of video game development as a hobby, a means for side income, and as an entry-level friendly game development platform.
Non-Roblox Plus subscribers, for starters, will have to pay 1000 Robux to publish a game. Additionally, for a game to be able to be published to the general audience, it has to be played by 500 unique players who are age-verified as 16+ for the past 60 days, otherwise said game's rating will be stuck as playable for audiences 16 years old and above only.
It is also worth noting that even with the (so-called) safety measures in place, potential criminals still can, and will find a way to get past them. Not to mention, this will significantly hamper communications between genuine family members and friends, unless they use convoluted ways to contact each other in the chat messaging system and games alike, via Trusted Friends.
While there still are people who will spend their time and resources on Roblox for the purpose they desire, these updates will certainly be a deal-breaker for some, especially small-scale game developers.
Whether or not these are their own decisions, if they are pushed by governmental entities to do this–or something else entirely, I'm of the opinion that all this could have been preventable if Roblox had taken their user base's concerns more seriously.
It is unfortunate that things have to go this way. Unless the detrimental effects of this update can be reversed (which is highly unlikely), or be minimized, the future of this platform seems bleaker than ever.
We can only wait and see how this situation develops, though.
Advice to those who publish documentation of controversial and/or incriminating nature (to the best of my abilities):

Don't put everything in one basket. What I mean by this is that you should know the rules and guidelines of any document host (e.g Google Docs). Expect a number of those who disagree to your side of the story to take action against your document(s), especially spam-reporting. Consider other means of preserving documents while you're at it.
Have a hard drive backup to make re-uploading easier. Download your documents if you can as any document format of your choice, and store it somewhere you can access––your computer, your external hard drive, wherever you can secure them.
If you can, also write your documentation it on word-processing document programs, rather than just doing it in online editors (e.g Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer).
If an ongoing legal process with the situation you are in takes place (e.g legal disputes, criminal court procedures), hold off releasing anything beyond what you're allowed to, until it's done. It is paramount to reduce the risk of an opponent's retaliation against you during it.
Be level-headed to the extent that you can handle. Confronting people for poor conduct of behavior, let alone any criminal offense tests EVERYONE, from you, the author of any confrontational document, to your readers. If it gets overwhelming, take a break.
Have people you trust help with anything you need for your documentation. Writing confrontational documents can be taxing to your emotional and mental health. If in doubt, get help with editing.

It has come to my attention that Zeal (YourFriendZeal), owner and lead developer of Pressure, was involved in a horrific criminal conduct (sexual assault) against his ex-friend and composer Ren (AKA NoLongerNull) during last year's Roblox Developer Conference (RDC), and got close members of his social circle—and to extent, development team to hide it from everyone's knowledge.
Ren's original document on Google Docs sadly got taken down, possibly due to mass reporting by Zeal's supporters, but it has been preserved by multiple people prior, including this comprehensive archive by @henry-the-yearner.
J-Bug, one of Ren's friends, is currently helping her with reuploading her documentation, with additional information from after the original document was released. This post will receive an edit for when it will be available.
My thoughts on this incident can be read on both my Twitter/X and BlueSky accounts. The latter is better worded and with less errors than the former, but you can choose to read either.
Please give support to especially Ren in these trying times. Give her musical pieces a listen on either Spotify or YouTube. Should she open any means of providing monetary support, spare at least one of your respective currency if you can.
With that in mind, do everything you can to also boycott Pressure. Avoid playing it, downvote it if you have played, avoid purchasing any game pass from it, cancel related merchandise orders, and spread awareness of this incident, what have you.

Knowing his track record until this point, many people, myself included, won't put it past him to try to re-offend with a different target, if not escalate to a far worse criminal conduct.
Zeal is already a brand, security and reputation risk in light of being exposed, and thus should be cut out of access to Roblox or any other online platform—lest they allow the same incident, if not far worse, to occur in their event spaces and beyond.

4/16/2026: Ren stated that what happened to her isn't considered a rape, but it doesn't remove the fact that she still suffered abusive sex acts done to her by Zeal. For a rape to ACTUALLY happen, any penile insertion must take place during forced sexual interactions.
Her statement explaining the difference can be read here. I apologize for not having known the different types of violent sex crimes until now.
I have also added how Zeal can be a future brand, security and reputation risk for Roblox, if he is ever allowed to attend another official event such as the RDC.

A proof-of-concept launcher designed to restore and modernize the Roblox social experience because Roblox is removing in-game communication
An experimental proof-of-concept workaround to Roblox's chat restrictions has been found. Requires some technical knowledge to install, and may be difficult to the average end user to do it without running into errors and whatnot. Read carefully before installing.
Open an issue thread for any bugs or technical difficulties encountered (you'll have to have a GitHub account to do that, though)! Feedback is welcome and encouraged, so the creator of this launcher can improve upon it.

The way I see it, Roblox Corporation is going to double down on the mandatory age/ID verification to access communications, no matter what. Though this should be considered a possible breaching of several laws (emphasis on possible), always assume that they have every possibility to get away with it.
If you want to play Roblox despite this, AND still refuse to allow your sensitive information to be brokered, let alone stolen in a data breach, there should be games with custom chat systems which bypass this censorship excuse of an update.
Bear in mind that games of such nature violate the platform's policies, and can result in game deletion at best, or further account moderation actions at worst. Keep finding those games, favorite one you like, and have your joins on, so you can chat with your friends technically unrestricted when you join one. It sucks, but this is currently the only possible workaround that can be thought of.
The best course of action, however, is to avoid supporting Roblox in its entirety, but I won't stop you if you still want to do something there.
If you want to try and protest in a way that may (or may not) get the company's attention, writing and sending a letter of concern for its current state is the best course of action available.

This YouTube user, who previously put the Free Schlep posters at the Roblox HQ, is now mailing complaints directly to their real-life inbox.
What do you think? Will you also send your own complaint letter to put pressure on the company? Even if chances may be low, it may force them to try and respond to complaint letters being sent physically, if enough people do it.

What Roblox Corporation allows their platform's moderation system to do is disgusting. Items used to criticize their anti-user business and PR decisions being treated as discriminatory content DOESN'T make sense!

If you or someone you know have one or more Roblox accounts that have been falsely terminated in any way, Roblox Corporation's support team has refused to oblige any appeal for account reinstatement, AND allows their 30-day appeal window to expire after that, know that the company has committed a violation of multiple trade laws-- Including those set by the Federal Trade Commission, since that company is headquartered in the United States of America.
If you are a U.S citizen who has to deal with the above situation, file a fraud complaint to the FTC using the link below. Minors should ask their parents, or other legal guardians to file the report on their behalf.
