Levi had to do a double take when he heard a voice address him from above. He hadn’t exactly been pleased when his foster parents moved him to Derry-- something about him needing a fresh start, shit all over that-- and he hadn’t really found anyone to really talk to either. A group of bullies had already singled him out at school on the first fucking day and now he was just trying to find some peace and quiet in the park. 

But now-- Someone was talking to him? And not only that but... Damn. She wasn’t bad to look at it. Levi blinked a few times as he looked up at the stranger, cheeks flushing a light red.

He cleared his throat. “Uh... Wait, me?”

“Sweet,” Levi replied cheerfully, smiling and unlatching his hands so he could tap a beat against his knee. He was excited, and even more important, he felt safe. How long had it been since he felt safe? Years, to be certain.

Levi’s hands moved to take the blindfold off, but paused before untying it. Maybe Red didn’t want him to see what the outside of his base looked like? Levi cleared his throat. “Can I uh, take this off now?” He asked, waving a hand at his eyes. He didn’t really mind the idea of Red leading him inside blind, he just really didn’t want to bump into anything. 

The holding cell? Well that didn’t sound too cool but... A bed did sound nice. A proper bed, with sheets and a pillow and everything. He’d take it, and he’d remind himself that he was not a bad guy or a prisoner. He felt a little nervous about sleeping in a cell, but he’d get over it. He nodded along with Red’s instructions before shooting the hero a smile and an okay made with his thumb and pointer finger. “Right-o,” he said, opening his door as well but waiting to get out. He was still blind and all.

“Oh, okay.” The hero didn’t seem too inclined to actually explain why he had a tie just sitting in the trunk of his car, so Levi decided not to push it anymore. He settled to just fold his hands in his lap again, though his foot continued to tap away against the floor board.

Jeez, could this guy read minds? Maybe Red had secret super-powers too. All the same, Levi grinned sheepishly and nodded his head. He didn’t bother to turn his head in Red’s direction-- not like they could make eye contact or anything. “Uh, cool. I mean, I wasn’t worried or anything, but--” Lies. He quickly cleared his throat and moved on, shrugging. “Yeah, no problem.”

He perked up at the mention of food, sitting up straighter. He was always hungry. That was typical of living on the streets. His eyes widened behind the blindfold and he grinned. “You have a popcorn machine? Dude, that sounds awesome! Man, I can’t remember the last time I had popcorn.”
