So I have a boyfriend rn & we have been with each other for about 7 months. I recently started talking to this guy at work and he's one of the sweetest guys I know.we hangout a lot outside of work but nothing sexual. He recently just told me that he wants me to be his girl and how I would be perfect for him since his life is on the right track. I don't know what to do,I'm scared of what could happen given the fact that I have never been put into a situation like this.HELP PLEASE..I need advice

You’re gonna have to break it to him, sorry :( If you’re taken and he’s interested, you have to let him know you’re NOT on the market. But, if you remotely have any feelings for him, you might need to consider that before saying anything. How do I stop being so weird with love? I'll hu with guys and stuff but as soon as they say "I love you" I get weirded out and then I stop. Like I'll have things with guys and have "crushes" bc I like the idea of having someone and only being with one person but I hate when people compliment me and say they love me because I get so weirded out and I get so insecure and idk why.

Maybe commitment is your problem? It’s definitely scary and nerve wracking when someone says ‘I love you’ for the very first time, so that’s normal. But if you don’t feel the same way, then you don’t love the person in return. As for loving the idea of someone, that’s infatuation. It’s really hard to be committed when you’ve been single for a long time because it’s like learning to skate again after not skating for many years; you’re gonna be a bit rusty and scared. I say take it slow and don’t rush into relationships so quickly. Go on a couple of dates with somebody before getting serious with that person. Hope this helped xoxo

Talk to him on the bus! Just start slow by smiling and maybe wave or even say ‘hey’. You can always sit close by and maybe try to spark a conversation :) get to know who he is as a person and maybe he might just like you back!!

I like this guy, and I know he likes me. He's really affectionate and makes sure that I know he cares for me. He usually greets me with a nickname (our shared favourite pizza topping, which is peperoni. He and I make sarcastic remarks together at the back of class, so romantic right? lol, he even called me sincere and kind when I asked him why he liked me. All of this wouldn't happen if I didn't take a chance and be bold, I'm so glad tbh. Are ya proud of me? hahaha
