Did not expect a standard-issue romance between a rich guy and a poor girl would end up being this enjoyable. The friendship between the three women is lovely enough for me to ignore how monotonously bad the bitchy big sister is. Lee Jun-ho looks beautiful (predictably) and it's fun to see him playing a hero who gets to do all the dashing things — episode 5 ended with him saving the damsel in distress by showing up with a helicopter and jumping off a mountain ledge — but he's also being affectionately mocked throughout. Take, for example, his introduction, which has him parachuting to his office, only to land on the wrong building. (Even though I just saw it in Gaus Electronics, it's still funny.)

(Damn, he's cute.)

As workplace romances go, King the Land is doing a better job than Bora! Deborah did with its extremely awkward romance between CEO and intern. Both Sa-rang and her friend Pyeong-hwa are clearly going to find someone at work, and it's not feeling creepy or unethical (so far).

Run-through: Going on missions with Sam and Bucky meant always having to share sleeping quarters. And while Sam was a heavy sleeper, Bucky was not. Being a light sleeper was bad enough, but when paired with his enhanced hearing, every little sound woke him up. Including the constant buzzing of your vibrator at night. Bucky needs his sleep to be able to kick ass the next day so he has to find an alternative to all that buzzing. So he makes you an offer you can’t say no to.
