Hii!! I was reading ur dni and I was wondering what "Pro-contact / anti-consent paras" this means? sorry but idk what it means and I'd rather just check bcs when I googled it nothing came up
Para(s) is short for paraphilia(s). Paraphilias are atypical attractions, most known of which are pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, but there's also a bunch more.
Someone who is pro-contact is okay with people with any of the above to act on them, which for certain ones acting on them includes doing illegal harmful activities, obviously, since certain individuals (ie. kids, corpses, animals, ect.) cannot consent to actions regarding the attraction.
However, we are aware that attractions cannot be controlled and some people seek therapy for these. So we're okay with anyone that has a paraphilia to interact as long as they are aware of any consequences of their paraphilia, and that they do not go out their way to cause harm.
Anyone who actively harms others, has done so in the past or is okay with other people harming others, is not welcome here. So our stance is anti-contact.
We are not paraphiles ourselves nor interact with the community so if someone notices anything we've said that's false or not worded right, please inform.
idk if I can follow cuz basic dni has different meanings for different people, itβd be more helpful to be specific otherwise people donβt know if theyβre breaking boundaries or not

what is szpd? β schizoid personality disorder is a disorder in cluster-a and has the following criteria cited by the DSM-5:
A. β A pervasive pattern of detachment from social relationships and a restricted range of expression of emotions in interpretal settings, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by four (or more) of the following:
Neither desires nor enjoys close relationships, including being part of a family.
Almost always chooses solidary activities.
Has little, if any, interest in having sexual experiences with another person.
Takes pleasure in few, if any, activities.
Lacks close friends or confidents other than first-degree relatives.
Appears indifferent to the praise or criticism of others.
Shows emotional coldness, detachment, or flattened affectivity.
B. β Does not occur exclusively during the course of schizophrenia, a bipolar disorder or depressive disorder with psychotic features, another psychotic disorder, or autism spectrum disorder and is not attributable to the physiological effects of another medical condition.
