Rewatching 90210 (2008) and they really had Ivy going through some shit EVERY SINGLE EPISODE!!! From getting lowkey humiliated by Liam, rejected by Dixon bc of a probable disease, then when she thought Oscar wanted her, turns out he had slept WITH HER MOM and WAS HER FIRST TIMEE. Then when she finally finds someone she loves and loves her back HE HAS CANCER AND DIES?!?

I’m not saying the others didn’t have problems and terrible experiences but many of them were because they made terrible decisions. And even if they weren’t caused by their actions, they each still had fun and didn’t have tough periods throughout. But Ivy went through crazy shit throughout the show when the poor girl didn’t even do anything to deserve it

Rewatching Gossip Girl (big surprise) and I’m now just realizing how misogynistic Rufus was. Dan was literally put in jail for punching a guy at a bar after drinking and taking drugs with Ch*ck while Jenny was actually making something of herself by helping with a FASHION SHOW, having her dress get praised by powerful executives, and just basically saving the show and then SHE’S the one who gets reprimanded by Rufus???? Like yes i get it skipping school and lying about it is bad but she literally said she was keeping up with everything like her readings and homework. I don’t know but Rufus is so fucking annoying when he’s not with Lily 😭. Also just insane how both these events happen in the same episode and Rufus doesn’t even bat an eye at Dan’s actions. If anything he kinda encourages him 💀. And you know what, Jenny is so right that if her dad had made it big, he would not be saying shit to her about finishing school.

I still have a special place in my heart for the girls and for blackpink but this clearly isn’t for them, not anymore. Even very loyal fans that have stayed with them after the lack of comebacks are finally starting to give up on them, myself included. The girls all got used to being alone as artists, which ofc there is nothing wrong with that, but they should stop making empty promises and stick with what they have now.
