So question, regarding the end of last chapter, does Diremond actually care about Smithsonia? When Naria showed concern for Ginis he just straight up killed her but Diremond didn’t seem to mind it, or is it just because he doesn’t loathe being made of Crewbons like Ginis was?

Yes, Diremond does care about Smithsonia. It’s not necessarily in a romantic way, but he does value her greatly, which is why a Player attacking her is one of the few rules there is. Honestly, him genuinely caring about her is probably the only redeeming quality he actually is.

I Might be Grasping at Straws Here, but Here’s Something I Found Interesting

We know there’s at least four Gore Nightmares in existence at the moment, but the intro seems to suggest there’s one more.

Why’s this noteworthy? Well, generally, five things are considered “Basic Fears.”

Even more interesting, the bottom two tiers can be assigned to two of the Gore Nightmares, Extinction for Catastrophe and Mutilation for Punish. So my guess is that the Phantom, Oblivion, and the currently Unknown Gore Nightmares correspond to Loss of Autonomy, Separation, and Ego Death.
