So about the new gal that's surely being compared to Iono!

she's not my type at all she crashes out like if she lost a league of legends match if you defeat her in battle and as much funny as it is, it's not as appealing as the positivity that iono gives after being defeated, her grandpa being super happy to help her, meanwhile she shouts at him to blame him for her loss... it's weird feels kinda toxic...

so far i'm indifferent with her and when people asked me what do i think of her in comparison with iono... i prefer iono by many miles, she's way more entertaining as a character since it's her whole deal after all, the funny and the whimsy of iono as a showoman during streams and public events (thanks pokemon horizons!)

tl;dr i see to who they were appealing to and i get her charm, she's just not the streamer-type of character i like

Escaflowne X Pokemon Crossover Fanart!

I just watched The Vision of Escaflowne in full for the first time this year (in the past, I only caught bits and pieces back when On Demand was a thing), and I loved the characters in it so much that I had to give them some Pokemon!

Van and Folken - Since they are half Draconian, I think Dragon type Pokemon would suit them well, especially gentle-looking dragons like the Dragonite evolution line. Neither of the two brothers are grown up yet here, so I gave them Dratini and Dragonair.

Allen - Honestly, I just love that he has a pet owl, so I gave him more owls! Any excuse to draw more Hoothoots and Noctowls.

Merle, Naria, and Eriya - Three different kinds of Meowth for the three cat girls of the show! Side note: I like how different their ears are from the usual anime cat girl.

Dilandau - Giving him fire type dogs like Arcanine, its Hisuian variant, and Houndoom was an easy choice since he loves burning things and has a connection to dogs/dogmen.

Hitomi - I gave her two other Pokemon that can see glimpses of the future: Gothitelle and Xatu. Both of them have Pokedex entries suggesting that they sometimes experience distress from the visions they see, so Hitomi would be able to understand their pain in a way most others couldn't, and vice-versa.
