Saw this, and it made me emotional because all I could think was that Starlight Express used to be there instead :(
Back in january, I sent Andrew Lloyd Webber a letter about Starlight Express, including a list of potential rewrites, because I know he likes to rewrite the show often, and I just got a response :)
It said he's not considering any new ideas for a new production currently, but he liked the ideas I submitted :)
So I'm just really excited about that right now :)
Honestly I'm so sick of people defending 13 whilst hating on the writing. Like, she's my favourite, and the writing is part of that. I love her era and a lot of her episodes are some of my faves.
Stop saying "she was good, the writing just sucked". No it didn't, and saying that is not defending her!

a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
