A thing I think I like the most about Knights of Guinevere's pilot- and I like EVERYTHING about the pilot- are the credit images of Gwen, Frankie and Andi as knights.

It shows something I think fiction is very good at, which is the deeper truth of a thing; no, the two of them aren't armored medieval knights... but the truth is, the two of them ARE Guinevere's Knights, defending her, helping her, healing her. Those images are not literally true but represent a deeper truth; they are on her side.

Likewise, Gwen is also a princess, one that needs help; horribly beaten and broken, nonetheless her ugliness does not change her kindness or her true nature.

The magnificence of this art establishes a deeper truth, even if these things are not true.

And this image... the Guinevere who holds them as they sleep... the Guinevere who is supposed to exist, before the Park Planet people run her into the ground. Of course she holds them, the ghost of a queen who should be, watching over the living princess and her knights.
