I never get why anyone thinks it is a good idea to try take on a person who tells jokes for a living.
I was never any good with being inconspicuous .
Funniest man alive right now!
Anybody else miss this show!?
I was chatting with someone the other day and mentioned Dewey Bozella's name and they had no idea what I was talking about. This is a story you'll wanna hear..
Jim Carrey at his best. I always feel like this when I tell a yank where I am from.
Chris Rock is still one of the best there is. Funny, and makes you think.
Not exactly a Turkle analysis of the internet, but i enjoyed it ;) Also, this guy is a Canadian comic and a damn funny one at that. Check out more of Lachlan Patterson if you are looking for a good laugh.
I have very few pet peeves, but those I do have almost all come from things that happen at the gym.
Classic, but a gooder. Hopefully he didn't predict the future...
There is always a concern with ideological views of meritocracy that is associated with sports. While I readily recognize the class struggles and other problems that sports further perpetuate; I think there is something to be taken from them. We don't buy into the story of sport because of secert aspirations of being a professional athlete (well, some still haven't let go of that dream ;)) No, it is a everyday reminder of the battle between body and mind. Whether you are picking yourself up during a tumble in a race, or battling through that term paper into the the wee hours of the next day. These athletes remind us how powerful our will can be, and how far we can push ourselves if something important to us is on the line. Find your Stanley Cup, or your Super Bowl people.
