The Leica Gallery Stuttgart exhibition by photographer and filmmaker Philipp Reinhard. Under the title "Black, Red, Gold!".
Reinhard has been accompanying the DFB team as a team photographer since 2017, his recordings include international matches, training sessions and major tournaments such as the 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2022 Qatar.
A particular highlight of the exhibition are the intimate snapshots that show the players in private and inconspicuous situations. Often taken in the confines of hotel rooms or on the sidelines, these images open up a new perspective on the world of top-class sport. "I want to show the people behind the athletes and maintain the balance between their public and private spheres," emphasises Reinhard.
