Might be going under the radar for a while again, long story short I fucked up a few exams so I need to put 100% of my time towards that instead of devving.
Whoops, Tumblr blurred that gif a little, so here's the raw version
I tried to add a wee bit of body movement to it. Ignore the legs, because the character isn't exactly going to be standing still long enough to carry out a melee attack while still.
Not devving that much recently because of exams, kinda chose a bad time to get back into it, though I'll plod on with it occasionally if I'm fed up with studying for the day.
Fuck I just can't animate for shit
Just getting all the assets together and I'm considering a slight redesign of the weapons system. Instead of having the pistol in the left hand and some weapon in the right hand, only one weapon can be carried at any time. Weapons will now have limited ammo, but there will be melee attacks to use.
Done, now time to work on Node.

Welp, looks like I’m remaking Node
Don’t expect anything in a hurry, my time is split like 80% study and 20% gamedev, if that.
Though I really want to make Node with the full big-size levels with tonnes of objects, and if GM:S can handled a few thousand objects, it’ll be a piece of piss.
Also, someone enlightened me to the performance increase GM:S has over GM8.
So, the question is:
Carry on with Box Stacking Simulator 2014
Or remake Node?

They should make this an actual category.
So the idea is that you stack the same coloured boxes in groups of three and they get teleported away and you get points.
