The silence that hung between the two of you for weeks had been brutal, it was like he couldnât stand to even be in the same room as you anymore. Which wouldnât be a problem if he was any other guy that you fucked around with and caught feelings for. Except he wasnât just any other guy, he was Dr. Robinavitch, your chief attending, your boss.
Robby had been icing you out for weeks now, passing you off to other attendings, giving you less technical cases, and it hurt. It really fucking hurt. You had worked together for three years, he knew what you were capable of, how brilliant of a doctor you could be, so you knew the reason he was being so dismissive of you was because of that night.
That night when you were lying in his bed, a mess of tangled limbs, where the scent of the sex you had just had lingered in the air, when those three little stupid words fell out of your mouth before you could stop them.
You felt Robbyâs body tense immediately, the gentle rise and fall of his chest under your head seized and it seemed as though all the air had been sucked out of the room.
You couldnât apologise fast enough, you scrambled to explain that you didnât mean it, but the damage was already done.
When the two of you started hooking up a year prior, your first year of residency, Robby set out the rules for what it would be, what it would only ever be and what it could never be.
âNo feelings, no strings, just sex.â
At the time you didnât mind, you had never been one for feelings anyway, too complicated, too much work. But as the weeks turned into months, and months turned into a year it got harder for you to remember why you set those rules in the first place.
You had always found Robby extremely attractive, ever since your intern year when you first laid your eyes on him and you began to imagine all the dirty things he could do to you.
What you didnât expect though was the way heâd open up to you, how vulnerable he would become, only for you. Though you supposed falling asleep buried inside the same pussy most nights could do that to even the most emotionally unavailable of men.
At first youâd let him tell you his innermost darkest thoughts because you reckoned he needed someone to talk to and he knew that you wouldnât tell anyone, or that you couldnât tell anyone. But as the months went by and the more he opened up, you found yourself actually wanting to hear it, wanting to know what was going on inside that fucked up head of his. And you began to open up to him too.
It was a recipe for disaster and you knew it. You shouldâve ended it as soon as you started to find yourself wondering what he was doing when he wasn't with you, whether he was okay or not. But you never did.
You had tried your hardest to bury your feelings for him, to pretend they werenât real. Yet as you basked in the afterglow of another night of incredible sex, with your guard well and truly down, the words you had been fighting so hard to keep in clawed their way out. Ruining everything all at once.
âYou should leaveâ was all Robby could say as you begged him to forget what you had said.
Tears burned at your eyes as you got dressed in silence, you tried to tell him that you didnât mean it, it was just a figure of speech but it was no use. It was too late, he had heard it, and you could never take those three stupid words back.
So you left, wordlessly and utterly broken.
âHey, you feelinâ okay kid?â Danaâs thick accent pulls you out of your thoughts and you turn to look at her. She has that familiar sympathetic look on her face, the same one sheâd give after a particularly difficult case, or when youâd lose a patient.
âOh yeah, I'm fine?â You lie, it came out as more of a question than a statement and Dana notices, she always notices that kind of thing.
âItâs just youâre staring at that chart like itâs gonna fill itself out, something's been bothering ya for weeks now, youâre not yourself, wanna talk about it?â She offers you a kind smile and a comforting hand on your shoulder.
You wish that you could talk about it, you need to desperately, but you know the fallout that would ensue would only make things worse, for everyone.
âNothing to talk about, iâm fineâ You lie again, and Dana gives you that âsureâ look with a pointed eyebrow. She knows youâre lying but doesnât press you any further, probably figures youâd talk about it when youâre ready.
âIf youâre sure, kidâ She turns to walk away but stops in her tracks.
âOh, the boss was looking for ya, heâs in the family roomâ She adds before walking away, getting stopped by everyone as she did so. âMust be nice to actually be needed around hereâ you think to yourself as you watch her do her thing.
With a sigh you close your chart and make your way down to the family room, your heart pounding in your chest as you think about the possibility of being alone with Robby for the first time in weeks. Your thoughts race as you wonder what he wants with you, but you push those thoughts away, disassociating until your mind is completely empty.
You take in a deep breath before knocking on the door, an attempt to shake off the nerves that are eating at you. It takes a couple of seconds after you hear a soft âcome inâ to actually will yourself to open the door.
As you enter the room your gaze immediately falls on Robby, heâs sitting on one of the chairs, his head in his hands, eyes red like heâd been crying. It stops you dead in your tracks seeing him this way, all you want to do is go over to him and wrap your arms around him, to tell him heâs okay, but you canât, so you donât.
You stay just inside the closed door, keeping a respectful distance between the two of you.
âWhatâs up?â You ask, shoving your hands in your pockets, unsure of what to actually do with yourself.
He looks up at you, the familiar sad look in his eyes tears your heart in two but you do your best to remain neutral, closing yourself off because you have to.
âOh uh, got a pregnant kid in south 15, sheâs just uh 14, Kiara is talking to her and the parents, I need you to take over, I canâtâ His voice breaks, stopping him in the middle of his sentence.
You can see heâs fighting back tears that are desperately trying to escape him and it takes everything in you to stay put, to not go over there to comfort him.
Silence fills the room as you wait for him to be able to speak again, not wanting to push him, the same grace that Dana had offered you just minutes ago. But his words never come back to him and he sits there staring at the ground, fiddling with the necklace he usually keeps hidden under his scrub top.
âMichael, are you okay?â You ask after a couple more minutes, already knowing the answer.
It wasnât unusual for you to call Robby by his first name, you had said it a thousand times before. But now, after everything it just felt wrong. Too familiar. It takes him a minute before he looks up at you again and slowly shakes his head, biting nervously at the broken skin of his lips.
You know what you wanted to do; go over to him, hold him, make it better. But after weeks of him ignoring you, you arenât sure if itâs what heâd want, until you catch a tear falling from his eye and think, fuck it.
The door locks with a click and you cautiously make your way over to him, as though youâre scared that if you move too fast heâd bolt.
He doesnât though and you softly lower yourself into his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck and you pull his head close to your chest. His resolve softens immediately and he melts into you, his arms snake around your waist, holding you impossibly close to him. Grounding himself in your comforting presence.
âmâsorryâ He sniffs, his voice broken and shaking.
You can feel the cold wetness of his tears through your scrub top, thank god the hospital mandates black scrubs, you think to yourself.
âsâokay, what happened?â You ask softly, stroking the back of his head, your short nails scratching slightly, not painful just soothing.
âI uhâ lost a patient this morning, little girlâfive, she uhâ her parents, they didnâtâ she wasnât.â Robby explains, barely, but you understood what he meant.
His voice is hardly a choked whisper as he fights against the lump in his throat. You take in a deep breath and close your eyes, resting your head against his.
The preventable deaths are always the hardest, the ones where you know that if something had just been done differently the patient would still be here. Especially the ones involving children, where the parents make misguided choices for their kids, when they should be doing anything they can to protect them.
âIâm sorry, I know how hard that mustâve been for youâ You whisper into his hair, tears now threatening to fall from your own eyes, but you choke them back.
âyeahâ Robby pulls back slightly, his arms still firmly holding you to him, like youâre the only thing keeping him together.
His gaze meets yours, the whites of his eyes bloodshot, his lashes wet with tears, even still he has your heart racing and you feel yourself leaning into him. As if by instinct, your soft lips meet his. Theyâre cracked and rough from his anxious biting but it still feels like heavenâlike home.
Robby kisses back, it's slow and gentle, just like it had been the first time. When he had been so afraid of crossing that line with you, when he was worried heâd gotten the wrong idea. Before he knew you wanted him just as much as he wanted you.
Your hand finds its way to his cheek, your fingers grazing lazy lines through his beard making a soft whine escape from his lips into your mouth. His own hands are under your scrub top and the long sleeved layer you wear beneath, his fingers splayed out across your back, pushing you against him.
âfuck, Iâve missed youâ You whisper, your lips leave a trail of soft kisses down his jaw to his neck.
And as if your words had broken some sort of spell he was under, you felt his body tense up beneath yours again. Just like it had done all those weeks ago.
You pull away to look at him, but he turns away, using the sleeve of his hoodie to wipe his eyes. Without saying anything he gets up, causing you to stumble slightly as your feet suddenly hit the ground. You look up at him, embarrassment coursing through you, but again he doesnât meet your gaze, just straightens out his hoodie and adjusts his pants.
âwe shouldnâtâ I should, uhâ I have to get backâ He pushes past where you still stand, unable to move out of his way as if you were stuck in a daze, trying to process what just happened.
The bustling sounds of the ED fill the room as he opens the door to leave without saying another word.
Another long, unbearable week passes. You try desperately to avoid Robby, unable to stomach the awkward tension that surrounds you whenever heâs near. You try not to agonise over how youâd been rejected by himâŠtwice, but itâs no use. Every accidental look is a painful reminder of every event that unfolded that led you here.
It works out for the most part, mainly because Robby was still obviously avoiding you too, the difference being now that you didnât care about how he was icing you out. You no longer fret over how heâd give the good cases to anyone but you, you were just glad that you didnât have to be near him, and he you.
Robby announced his sabbatical a couple of days ago, heâd be leaving at the end of the week, and you for one could not be more relieved by the prospect of him being gone. You couldnât wait to be able to walk freely around the ED again without fear that you might bump into him, that you might have to talk to him.
There were brighter none-Robby-filled-days aheadâwhat a dream.
But then there was that other part of you.
The part that still longed for him, that wanted to hold him, to touch him, be with him. That part ached every single time you were reminded that heâd be gone.
He didnât even have the decency to tell you that he was leaving, you had to find out from Trinity who was gossiping about it with Princess.
âHey doc, you got a sec?â a deep male voice pulls you away from the computer you were staring at, hoping again those charts would just write themselves.
You look up to find Adam, a nurse that had started a couple of months ago, he was bright-eyed and always so happy to be hereâŠgod, how you wished you were still like that. You envied him endlessly, he was new so everyone liked him, he hadnât been beaten down by this merciless beast that you called a job yetâso young and carefree, he was everything you werenât.
âYeah sure, whatâs up?â you lock the computer and lean back on your chair, resting your arms behind your head.
Adam looks down at the floor awkwardly, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. It reminded you of Robby, he used to do that when he was talking to you, when heâd get all flustered when your gaze caught hisâŠfuck, you missed him a lot.
Youâd thought on a few occasions that Adam looked like how you imagined Robby mightâve looked at his age. When heâd of been in his mid 20âs, when the world had been kinder to him, before life caught up to his features, when he still knew how it felt to smile.
âSo..uh, weâre all going out for drinks this saturday, kind of like a send off for Dr Robby, and I-uhâŠI was just wondering if you were going?â He winces on almost every other word, obviously nervous. you canât help but smile at how endearing he is.
âI wasnât planning on going, noâŠâ you trail off, trying to come up with any excuse as to why you couldnât go. Luckily Adam butt in again before you got the chance to stumble through some half-excuse that definitely wouldnât have come out believable.
âoh, thatâs a shame. I was kind of hoping iâd see you thereâ Adamâs face is flushed bright red, and the grip on his neck travels up to the hair at his nape, rubbing it in an attempt to soothe his awkwardness.
âYeahâŠiâm sorry, but i donâtââ
Youâre stopped dead in your tracks when you catch Robby, stood just past Adam, stuck in a conversation with Dana but heâs not looking at herâheâs looking at you.
Watching you, eavesdropping on your conversation with Adam, his face scrunched up in something that looks like dismay, jealousy maybe?
There he was, looking as good as he did the day you met him. When heâd been so polite, kind and gentle with you on your first day. When an accidental touch of his hand on yours had set everything in motion, when you knew you wanted him and did everything you could to get him.
Shit, what you wouldnât do to have that backâŠ
Thatâs when it hits youâyour master plan.
After almost no thought at all, you decide that you would in fact be going to Robbyâs goodbye drinks. And youâd be going with a cute nurse on your armâjust to see Robby squirm.
Would the plan work? would Robby see you with Adam and be so beside himself with jealousy that heâd just have to have you again? probably not.
Hey, at least youâd get a date with a cute nurse out of it, if not.
âYou know what, fuck it, yeah iâll be thereâ you smile.
Your eyes flicker to Robby looking him in the eye for only a second, he evades your gaze immediately, then back to Adam whoâs beaming ear to ear.
âAwesome! i was thinking that maybeâŠ.if you wanted to, we could go together?â Robbyâs standing closer now.
He had obviously tried to get away, tried to get out of earshot of your conversation, but had been stopped by Javadi presenting a case to him right next to where you sat.
âI would love to go with you Adamâ you add extra emphasis on âloveâ and you revel in the way that Robby winces at it.
âGreat! send me your address and iâll pick you up at 7, see you later, docâ He winks before heading off to assist in an incoming trauma, you canât help but giggle at the pep in his step as he practically skips awayâmay he never lose his whimsy.
After a second or so you notice Robby is still stood beside you, but Javadi is no longer there.
You turn to him with a sly smile written on your face, he flinches as your eyes meet his as if he hadnât realised he was still stood there. Like heâd been frozen in place and youâd just woken him up.
âCan I help you, Michael?â You ask, locking the computer with your badge.
âI-uh, no, sorry docâ the mocking tone he puts on doc doesnât go unnoticedâobviously amused by the little pet name Adam had given you.
âgood, see you saturdayâ you smirk, hauling your backpack over your shoulder before heading out. Your shift had finished hours ago but god, are you glad you stayed.
Saturday comes around fast, youâd spent the last few days off work preparing for the night. You knew it was just casual drinks in some old man bar that Robby had taken to you to a few times, but youâd be damned if you were going to dress like it was just thatâyou were on a mission.
A mission to show Michael Robinavitch exactly what heâs missing.
You had planned everything down to the last detail, styling yourself just how Robby liked it. You wore the dress that he loved you in so much, but couldnât keep on you for too long, and did your hair and make up in that way that always drove him crazy. You were a vision, his perfect woman, your body a weapon designed to kill.
Adam came to pick you up at 7, just like he said he would. He greeted you with a smile and a quiet âyou look beautifulâ.
A small pool of guilt twisted in your stomach as you thought about how you were kind of using him, that he was so obviously into you and you couldnât reciprocate those feelings.
Sure, heâs nice and everything, and maybe under different circumstances you mightâve actually taken a date with him seriously, but you couldnât stop thinking of anyone but Robby.
Robby with his stupidly handsome face, and his stupid smirk and his stupid hands that you prayed might touch your body againâif only one more time. As much as you wanted to make him jealous, make him hurt, what you wanted more than anything was for him to hold you again, to touch you, to love you.
And you know you should let him go, to move on and find someone who does love you, who does want you, someone like Adam, but you just couldnât find it in yourself.
It wasnât long before you arrived at the bar and you sat at the table with the rest of the group, whilst Adam went to fetch you a drink. The table erupted into a chorus of wolf whistles and âhello gorgeousâ as you satâRobby however was noticeably silent, just taking a sip of his drink as the rest of the group fussed over you.
âShit, you clean up niceee girlâ Santos remarks with a slight drunken slur in her speech, rubbing her shoulder up against yours.
You were a little late, fashionably so.
You had told Adam you needed to stop at the hospital to pick up something youâd left behind, though you actually hadnât. You just wanted to let Robby sit with your absence for a little while, until he was stirring wondering whether you would actually show up or not.
âYeah, you look amazing, I feel underdressed nowâ Mckay looks down at her own much more casual outfit and then back at you, in fact everyone else was dressed in some variation of jeans and a t-shirt. Everyone but you who looked like you were attending a much fancier event.
âOh yeah, I kind of forgot where we were going, iâm definitely overdressedâ you lie.
You knew exactly where you were going, you just didnât want Robby to be able to take his eyes off youâwhich so far was working. His eyes hadnât left you from the minute you sat down, his lips pressed in a tight line as if he was holding something back, and you would be getting it out of him one way or another.
Adam joined the table after a couple of minutes, placing your favourite drink down in front of you before slotting down in the booth beside you. You thank him with a smile and a hand on his upper arm so Robby could see it, and he does.
He clears his throat in response but you donât give him the satisfaction of looking at him, you just jump into conversation with your date. Completely ignoring Robbyâs every attempt to catch your attention.
As the night goes on and as everyone gets tipsier the conversation gets livelier. Somehow you end up in a conversation that was definitely a HR violation waiting to happen.
âSo whereâs likeâŠthe craziest place you guys have had sex?â Santos slurs, now noticeably very drunk. Everyone bursts out laughing at her inappropriate line of questioning, but answers anyway.
âin a parkâ someone says.
âin a toilet stallâ another adds.
until suddenly itâs your turn to answer and everyoneâs looking at you, waiting with baited breath to hear your response.
ââŠ.the hospitalâ you whisper under your breath.
Should you have revealed that to a group of your colleagues that work in the very hospital youâre talking about? probably not. Should you have said it in front of the very guy you had done the act with? definitely not. Were you too tipsy and too mad to care? yes.
âWHAT!?â Everyone shouts at once, everyone but Robby that is.
Because he already knew that.
It was Robby who had pulled you into a seldom used supply closet that shift. It was Robby who pushed you up against the wall as soon as you entered the room, wasting no time in pulling down your scrub pants and grinding his hips against your bare ass before pushing himself in. And it was Robby who whispered âthis can never happen againâ against your neck as he emptied his balls inside of you.
And it was Robby who broke that promise over and over again.
âoh my god, with who?â
Everyoneâs eyes were on you, everyone but Robby who was looking down at his drink in his hand, his knuckles turning white as he gripped it tight. Either annoyed that you had told everyone, or aroused as those same events replayed in his own head.
âI donât kiss and tell, sorry guysâ You laugh, you look over at Robby momentarily, heâs staring right back at you. His eyes dark, oh he had definitely been thinking about it.
âokay, well I donât think anyone can top that, but what about you boss?â Trin asks, her face turning red as she realised she was talking about sex with her boss. Well soon to be ex-boss, for a couple months at least.
âUhâŠhahaâ Robby laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand as his face flushes bright red.
âCome on! you can tell us! Youâre technically not our boss anymore Robbyâ Dennis remarks, his usually quite shy demeanour had been washed away by the alcohol in his system.
âCome on, we all answeredâ You say, the corner of your mouth flicking upwards in a smirk as you took another sip of your drink.
âUhâŠI donât know, my car?â He answers nervously and everyone rolls their eyes and booâs his boring answer.
ââŠin the hospital parking lotâ He adds, looking at you momentarily before the the table erupts into a chorus of cheers at his less boring answer.
Your mind flashes back to fogged up windows and laughter as Robby tried to manoeuvre his large frame in his much too small car.
He had you laid down on his back seat, stripped down to only your bra and he was trying to position himself on top of you, but it wasnât working. He had already eaten you out in his passenger seat and made you cumâŠtwice, and his cock was aching to be inside of you.
âMikey, come on, I donât think this is going to workâ You laugh, caressing the side of his face as you lean up to kiss him.
âIt will work, damnit. God, I wanna fuck you so badâ He rests his forehead against yours, still trying to find a comfortable angle to no avail.
âand I want you to fuck me so bad too, but this isnât working, youâre gonna hurt yourself old manâ You giggle, capturing his lips in another kiss.
He gives up his pursuit and sits on the seat by your legs, you sit up too leaning your head against his shoulder.
âYouâre cute, you know that?â He wraps his arm around your shoulder, pulling you into him so your head is resting against his chest.
âHey, you okay?â Adamâs voice rips through your daydream, crashing you right back to reality.
âOhâŠyeahâ you look around and find yourself back at the table, back in the world where you and Robby no longer share secret moments filled with laughter, or anything anymore for that matter.
Sadness burns deep in your chest and it feels like you canât breathe, maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe you shouldâve just left well enough alone.
âAre youâŠcrying?â Adam asks moving his hand up to your face to wipe the tears you didnât know had fallen at the bittersweet memory, but you beat him to it and hurriedly wipe them away yourself.
âOh, itâs nothing, my eyes do that when i have too much to drinkâ You lie, looking down at your empty glass.
âSpeaking of, Iâm going to get another, you want one?â You get up and Adam slides back to let you out.
âSureâ He gets up too but you tell him to stay there, youâll get it, itâs your round, but really you just needed to be alone for a minute.
You push your way through the crowds of people to get to the bar, who knew that Robbyâs old man bar would be such a hot spot for Pittsburgh nightlife? It had been dead whenever Robby took you, but you imagined that was by design.
The less people who saw you together, the better.
The bartender is busy with other customers when you reach the bar, and you take that moment to practice your breathing. This wasnât the first time your emotions got the better of you and you felt that crushing weight on your chest, and you remember how Robby had taught you how to regulate your breathing.
âInâŠ2,3,4âŠoutâŠ.2,3,4â you whisper to yourself, both hands gripping the sticky bar as you hang your head, trying to drown out the loud sounds of the room.
You feel a large hand on your back and you know who it is without even looking, you would never forget the weight of that hand on your skin, or the way your skin tingles beneath it.
âInâŠ2,3,4âŠ.outâŠ.2,3,4â You ignore him, repeating your mantra over and over until you feel somewhat normal again.
Somewhere along the way Robbyâs voiced mixed with yours, whispering the same words back to you. You hate the way it instantly calmed you, how he was the reason for your anxiety and the only one who could ease it.
âYou okay kid?â He asks, his voice soft and low, it felt like a warm hug that held you but made you feel sick at the same time.
âsureâ you donât look at him, you just keep your eyes straight ahead, waiting for the bartender to take your order.
âSoâŠAdamâs nice, you like him?â Robby tries to initiate small talk again, his hand no longer lingering on your back.
âsureâ you shrug, still not looking at him and Robby sighs at your curt response.
âyou look amazing, by the wayâ
âI knowâ Robby laughs at that.
God, youâve missed that sound.
âDonât think I donât know what youâre doing by the way, kidâ He leans in close to you, using the bar being too crowded and loud as an excuse. Really he just wanted to be close to you again, wanted to watch the way your body reacts to his, the way you lean in instinctively like you always do.
âI donât know what youâre talking aboutâ You act nonchalant, pretending like trying to make him jealous wasnât the whole reason for your being here. Robbyâs not stupid though, he sees right through your facade.
âI knew what you were up to the minute you said yes to Adam, I saw that look on your face. The same proud look you get when you have one of your great ideasâ His hand is on your shoulder now, pulling you closer to him as someone talks loudly beside you.
âI really donât know what you mean, Michael. Iâm just out with my friends trying to have a good timeâ You shrug, lying through your teeth of course. The proximity to him had electricity coursing through your body, your legs were almost buckling beneath you.
âand wearing that dress, that was a smart move iâll give you that. Did you manage to get the stains out of it okay?â You can hear the smirk in his voice as he reminds you of the last time you wore it.
When youâd been in this very bar and Robby couldnât even wait to get you home. When heâd pulled you into a alley round the side of the building and fucked you right then and there. It was messy and it was so very delicious. You finished him off in your mouth and a few drops of his cum had leaked past your lips and dripped down the very dress you were wearing tonight.
Your cheeks flush hot red at the memory and you bite your lip to hold back whatever inappropriate noise was wanting to come out, Robbyâs hand had travelled down from your shoulder to your waist.
The bartender finally came over and you ordered a drink for yourself and Adam, surprised youâd even remembered why you were stood at the bar in the first place through the arousal that was clouding your brain.
âagain, I donât-â you start but Robby cuts you off with a deep, almost dark chuckle.
âlet me stop you there kid, I know you think that you know what youâre doing, but I promise that you donât. You think youâre going to swan in here looking all beautiful, wearing that dress, make me remember all the good times we shared and iâm going to just beg to have you back. Itâs not going to work, sweetheartâ
You place your hand on his chest, leaning up on your tip toes so your face is millimetres away from his, your lips hover near his for just a second, so close that if youâd of been nudged youâd be kissing. You place your free hand on the side of his face, the soft hair of his beard tickles the palm of you hand as you lean in close to his ear and whisper.
And with that you pick up your drinks from the bar and make your way back to the table, purposefully swaying your hips as you walk.
Robby returns to the table soon after, his own drink refilled, and he sits across from you leaning back in the booth with his legs parted slightly and his drink balanced on his knee. He looked hot, dangerously so and you couldnât ignore that gnawing want bubbling inside you as he sat there, with his eyes on you, devouring you.
He knew what he was doing, of course he did. He knew exactly how to use his body language to get you all hot and bothered, what look to use on you that got your heart racing. I mean, youâd been fucking each other for a year, of course heâd learnt a thing or two about how to get you to fold for him.
You were determined not to let it work on you, to just ignore him, he had to come to youâŠthen you had another idea, if he was playing dirty you would too.
And so you turn to Adam with a bright smile plastered on your face and a devilish glint in your eye, âhey, wanna dance?â
Adam nods eagerly and you stand, grabbing his hand and leading him to the empty space people were using as a dance floor. You were far enough from the table that it wouldnât seem like you were begging to be watched, but still close enough that everyone could seâthat he could see.
You wrap your arms around Adamâs neck, leaning up on your tip-toes to be able to reach, you knew your dress would be riding up well past the top of your thighs, exposing the soft swell of your ass. That was on purpose. Your hips sway to the beat of the song that plays over the speakers, you donât know what the song is but you just let your body move.
Adamâs arms snake around your waist and he pulls you close, and you manoeuvre your bodies so that youâre facing the tableâso you can see the look on Robbyâs face as the two of you move in time to the beat.
Robbyâs trying to engage in whatever conversation is happening over at the table but his body betrays him as his eyes keep flickering to your direction. It doesnât help at all when the conversation at the table is dropped when Trin notices you and starts cheering, turning everyoneâs attention over to you as your hips sway to the music.
âget it girl!â She chants, clapping her hands. Sheâs so drunk at this point.
You do a little twirl for the table, your dress comes up, you knew it would, and the table cheers louderâŠwell everyone but Robby does. His eyes are glued on you, his body now fully turned and you can see the thick outline of his cock strained against his pants. Oh yeah, youâve won.
The song finishes and Adam excuses himself for a minute. You donât ask where heâs going, you donât care. You just return to the table, though this time you sit next to Robby, placing yourself uncomfortably close to him.
âyou okay there big guy?â you lean in close to him, reaching across the table for your drink, placing your hand on his thigh âfor stabilityâ.
âabsolutely fineâ he grunts through gritted teeth as your hand âaccidentallyâ grazes his crotch when you pull it back off his thigh.
âoh goodâ you hum, pleased with yourself and your plan that was clearly working.
âso youâre seriously not going to tell us who cracked you at the hospital, huh?â Trinity asks from across the table, still obviously stuck on the topic.
âiâm seriously not, noâ you laugh, and as you take a sip of your drink you feel a hand on your own exposed thigh. You see Robby out of the corner of your eye, leaning back in the booth with a pleased look on his face.
âbut I told you about me and Garciaâ she whines. Robbyâs hand creeps further up, his fingers now beneath where your dress meets the top of your leg, goosebumps prick at your sensitive skin, your body feels like itâs on fire.
âand thatâs your prerogative I donât kiss and-â the feeling of Robbyâs fingers slipping under the cotton fabric of your underwear cuts you off mid sentence.
âyou okay?â Dennis asks, his brows furrowed, still concerned about his friend despite his drunken demeanour.
You fake a hiccup, trying to mask a whine that escaped your lips as Robbyâs runs a finger between your soaked folds. It slides through easily, playing your little cat and mouse game all night had made you more turned on than you had been for months.
And it had been months since youâd even been touched by anyone. Hell, you hadnât even touched yourself in the time since you were last with Robby, too overcome by grief to even want to do it. So at this point you were so pent up that as soon as his finger grazed your clit you thought you might immediately cum.
ây-yeah, fineâ you stutter, grabbing Robbyâs arm under the table to keep yourself steady.
âyou sure? you donât seem fineâ Robby chimes in, the fake concern in his voice goes unnoticed by the rest of the group thankfully.
âIâm fine, r-reallyâ you hang your head and screw your eyes shut as Robby rubs gentle circles over your clit. Pressure builds in your core, fast and you try your hardest to push the feeling away, to try and focus on literally anything else other than Robbyâs fingers but itâs impossible.
It only gets harder as you feel him slip a thick finger inside of you, whilst he uses his thumb to stimulate your sensitive nerves.
âwhatâs going on?â Adam asks as he sits back down, sitting directly opposite you.
âoh nothing, just getting finger fucked by my attending in front of almost everyone we work withâ you wanted to say, but you didnât.
The situation was absurd and in that moment you were really starting to regret your stupid planâsort of.
âi donât know, she just started acting really strangeâ Robby explains, voice laced with faux worry that match the equally concerned look in his eyes.
Your toes curl in your shoes as Robby curls his fingers against that spongy spot inside of you, your body shakes softly and you know youâre about to cum. Your cheeks flush bright red with embarrassment at the thought of having an orgasm in front of your co-workers, but itâs too late.
Heat flushes your entire body and you drop your head against the wet table to hide your face as your orgasm crashes over you. You cough loudly to mask the noises being ripped from your chest, everyoneâs shouting your name, asking if youâre okay but youâre so out of it that it sounds like theyâre in another room.
Your head spins and Robbyâs fingers donât let up as he rides you through it. His face inches away from yours as he leans in and asks if youâre okay, though you can barely hear him as blood and endorphins flood your blissed out brain.
It takes you a couple of seconds to come to, and you realise that Robby had made you cum so hard that you literally blacked out.
You lift your head off the table to very anxious looks from your friends.
âWhat happened? are you okay?â Adam asks, his voice laced with distress as he thinks he just witnessed his date having a medical emergency.
âiâm fine, I think I blacked out for a second, Iâm okay thoughâ you slur, the orgasm had made you feel the alcohol in your system ten-fold. Your head spins and your vision is so blurred you can barely make out the faces in front of you.
âMaybe I should take you home, you donât seem wellâ He gets up and comes to sit beside you, your blood runs cold as you panic that he might catch a glimpse of whatâs going on under the table.
Robby quickly pulls his fingers out of you, wiping them clean on your own thigh before grabbing his drink with that very hand. Taking a sip he closes his eyes and inhales, âpervertâ you think to yourself as he clearly sniffs his you-covered fingers in front of everyone.
âthatâs o-â you start but get cut off by Robby placing his jacket over your shoulders, covertly claiming you as his.
âI can take her, Iâm only a few blocks away from her and I need to head out anyway, early start tomorrowâ Heâs already pulling you up before you or anyone else has time to question him, you donât protest, you donât have the energy or the will to.
He doesnât live a few blocks away from you at all, heâs all the way across town but you donât mention that as his arm wraps around your waist, steadying you as your knees buckle beneath the dead weight of your exhausted body.
âohâŠokay, well I had a great time tonightâ Adam smiles at you, he looks between you and Robby as if heâs on the verge of figuring everything outâhe doesnât though.
âyeah-hâŠmâtooâ your speech is still slurred, to the point where you sound stoned. Your entire body feels like jelly and when you go to hug Adam goodbye you stumble. Robbyâs grip on your waist tightens, pulling you back to him.
Everyone else says their goodbyeâs to yourself and Robby, it isnât until Dennis says âsee you in 3 months, bossâ that you remember that Robbyâs leavingâthat tonight is the last night youâll see him for a while. Tonight would be your last chance to ask him about what the hell happened between you two, why he freaked out when you told him you loved him or if he felt the same.
Though part of you didnât want to ask, didnât want to ruin what could be your last evening of mind blowing sex together for a long time. There was always the chance that heâd break your heart and tell you that he didnât feel the same, and that would hurt more.
But ultimately you knew that if you didnât ask youâd spend the next 3 months wondering about it, agonising over it and the thought of that was unbearable.
You leave with Robby, his arm firmly wrapped around you, guiding you as you stumble through the dense crowd of people. He approaches his car and opens the passenger door for you, and you just stand there as he gestures for you to get in.
âyouâre not drunk-driving me home, Michaelâ You protest, wrapping your arms across your chest, leaning against the car for support as your body tips into it.
âdonât be dramatic, iâve only had 2 beersâ He rolls his eyes, shivering slightly in the cold as his jacket is still draped across your shoulders.
âand besides I do some of my best driving under the influenceâ he huffs out a laugh, but the joke is lost on you in your drunken state.
âMichael youâre not-â you start, but he cuts you off.
âjesus kid, iâm joking, just get in the carâ He shakes his head, amused by the stern look youâre trying to give him but failing miserably at.
âI donât wannaâ You protest, standing upright and planting your feet firmly on the floor, stumbling over your own feet slightly.
âsweetheart, get in the carâ He warns, raising his eyebrows at you like a father would a disobedient child.
ârightâ Robby huffs and shuts the passenger side door. He looks quickly behind his shoulder to make sure no one was around to witness what may be perceived as a potential crime as he picks you up by the waist with one arm and throws you over his shoulder.
âMichael! put me down!â you shout, slamming your fist against his back. Blood rushes to your head and you feel like youâre going to be sick, he opens the door to the back of the car and throws you down across the seats and slams the door behind you.
âyou do realise youâve just technically kidnapped me right?â You point out from the backseat once he gets into the car. He looks at you through the rear view mirror, a satisfied smile flickers across his face at the sight of you still splayed out across the backseats.
âIâm taking you to your own house, i think that would make me the worlds worst kidnapper, actuallyâ He laughs as he starts the engine.
âwhateverâ You mumble once you get yourself sat up and your seatbelt buckledâsafety first.
âfuck, babe, you feel so fucking goodâ Robby groans, his face buried in your neck, the soft swell of his tummy curved against your back, his hands are either side of your head and his cock is buried to the hilt inside of you. The angle is impossibly deep but heâs not moving, heâs just savouring the moment with you.
Heâd been all over you from the minute you stepped inside the door to your place, your dress had practically been ripped off and whilst you thought about protesting, demanding answers as to why heâd been so cold to you these last few weeks, you knew what was coming and you didnât want to waste your last chance to feel him inside of you.
It took ages to actually get to your bedroom, youâd stopped about 10 times to make out in various places, on the couch, then on each stair that he carried you up, then you had taken a quick break to take his cock down your throat just shy of your bedroom door.
When you finally made it onto the bed Robby wasted no time at all in drawing another orgasm out of you, with his mouth hot and wet on your soaked cunt. You were absolutely dizzy with arousal (and still a little drunk, mostly cock-drunk now though) and again those 3 words were trying to claw their way out of you, but you were determined not to let them out, as not to ruin the momentâŠagain.
âplease move, michael, fuck me, pleaseâ you beg, rolling your ass against his hips, chasing the friction he isnât providing. Heâd been inside of you for 10 minutes now, not moving, just feeling the way your walls clench around his thick cock when you think he may start moving, he loves the way your cunt begs for him, needs him.
âshhh, in a minute, youâre so needyâ He pulls your hair away from your ear and whispers low, the vibration of his low tone sends shivers straight through you and your pussy contracts around him again, making him hiss through gritted teeth.
âi need you so bad, pleasseeâ you whine, and he places one hand on your hip to cease your increasing movements, he wasnât making this easy for you.
âmmm, funny isnât it you spend all night trying to rile me up, trying to make me jealous, thinking youâre in control and the minute I get you in bed youâre this greedy, whiny little messâ he huffs out a dark laugh right into your ear, it makes you whimper.
âwhoâs in control?â Robby asks his voice thick with a sick satisfaction at your current mindless cock-drunk state.
âyou areâ You whimper again, closing your eyes as he kisses the sensitive skin of your neck.
âand who do you love?â
And now it was your turn to freeze, your body tenses beneath him, inadvertently making your walls clench around him again, tight this time, choking his cock. You donât answer, you canât, humiliation washes over you as thoughts to that night all those weeks ago come flooding back to you. Your cheeks burn red and you attempt to hide your face with your hands but Robby doesnât let you.
He grabs a fistful of your hair and pulls you up, your body pressed against his and his free arm wraps around your naked waist, holding you so close to him you can feel the trail of hair on his lower stomach tickle your lower back.
âI said, who do you love?â His voice is harsher this time and his grip in your hair tightens.
ây-youâ It comes out as barely a whisper, which obviously is not good enough for Robby, he pulls your neck back further exposing it fully as he bites at your skin.
âwho? sorry I didnât hear that, sweetheartâ He smirks against your skin at your response and at the fact that even through your humiliation youâre still dripping around his length, so much so he can feel it running down his balls.
âfuck, I love you!â you cry out and as soon as the words leave your lips heâs pushing you back down on the bed, both hands grab your hips and he finally starts moving.
He doesnât bother pacing, his hips snap against yours with a kind of feral ferocity that youâd not seen from him before, itâs hard, so hard that heâs pushing you up the bed with each thrust. You grab your sheets to try and stop yourself from moving but itâs no use, heâs too strong and youâre too limp from being so fucked out for most of the night.
âthatâs fucking right, you love me, not that fucking nurse, me, youâre mineâ His words come out as more of a growl than anything and heâs leaning back over you again, hitting your cervix on every deep thrust. Your grip on the sheets tighten and your eyes screw shut as you feel your third orgasm draw closer.
âlook at me!â Robby demands, moving away your hair that was covering your face, you force yourself to open your eyes and as soon as you do his lips are on yours. He doesnât let up his pace as he kisses you, itâs messy, all tongue and mostly teeth but neither of you care.
âtell meâ he trails hot, open mouthed kisses down your jaw and neck.
âtell me youâre mineâ Robby carries on his kissing down your neck to your shoulders, traveling further down your back.
âi-m ffuck, iâm y-yoursâ Heâs upright behind you again and he wraps his arms around your waist, using his leverage to pull your hips to meet his on each hard thrust. You reach your hand under your body to rub messy, absentminded circles over your overstimulated clit.
âthatâs right, sweetheart, fucking touch yourself whilst iâm fucking you, feels good doesnât it? only I could make you feel this fucking good, remember thatâ He groans, his own pace becomes messy and falters only slightly, heâs right there on the the edge with you.
âI knowâ You cry, that white hot band in your stomach is about to snap. âi love you, fuck iâm sorry, only you could make me feel sâ good, shit, iloveyouiloveyouiloveyouâ You babble mindlessly as your orgasm washes over you, your entire body shakes and convulses involuntarily under him, your cunt clamps down around him like a vice and itâs enough to send him over the edge with you.
âshit! your so fucking tight, sweetheart, fuck I love you tooâ He cries out as he finally finds his own release after being teased by you all night, he collapses on top of you, his arms still wrapped firmly around your body and he holds you close as thick and seemingly endless ropes of his release fill you up, deep.
Your body shudders beneath the weight of his as aftershocks roll through you, itâs almost impossible to catch your breath as the weight of him crushes you but you donât care, itâs almost comforting feeling him around you, his large body consuming yours.
He rolls himself off of you after a minute or two, pulling you with him so heâs spooning you. You snuggle up against him, you can feel where his softened cock is still leaking against your thigh, but you donât mind, youâre still reeling from your high and from hearing those words finally leave his lips.
Itâs a little while later and the two of you have showered and cleaned yourselves up, Robby changed your sheets for you as you took your time in the shower. You came back to find him laying in your bed, under the covers already mostly asleep.
âheyâ You kiss his cheek as you climb in next to him, he wraps his arm around you and you snuggle up against him.
âheyâ He smiles, his eyes still closed.
âdid you mean it?â You ask after a minute or two, looking up at him from where your head rests on his chest.
You donât specify what you mean but he knows already, he wraps his other arm around you, rolling you both onto your sides so youâre facing each other and he places a soft kiss on your forehead.
âyes, I meant itâ He kisses you again on the lips this time, just a small peck but it feels different this time, romantic almost.
âwanna talk about it?â
âfuck no, youâve worn me out, in the morningâ He chuckles and you nod, nuzzling your face into his chest before falling asleep wrapped up in his warm embrace.
cannot believe this is finally done, iâve been writing this since feb!
hope it was okay, itâs a lot longer than what i usually write for robbyđ€
