I’ve always wondered this too tbh….the illustrations on the doll box would be so much lighter but the actual doll was usually dark skinned. Was it for global marketing? I remember when bratz had a France commercial and it was said that Sasha wasn’t included cause she’s black so I’m assuming they just made her lighter for when they were being promoted in 2d animation for commercials and what not to make her less ambiguous

I never understood the situation lol I wish someone explain this, it always confused me as a child

Sasha was always so inconsistent and at times she was almost as light as Yasmin. Their animation on the box and in their earlier commercials was so hard to understand and tell whoever was Sasha and Yasmin lol
