He blinks, head canting to the side the same way a dogs would when attempting to understand something. “ That’s … great ? but why would I want help ? ” after all, he was never truly alone, was he ? he had his SOUL by his side. Even if he felt scared there wasn’t any danger he couldn’t face so long as remained brave.

He flashes a grin at the animatronic. The boy was no stranger to monsters ( robots too ) He’s seen them before, even met a few: would Freddy truly be so different from the ones he’d met before ? or perhaps Zach was foolish enough to believe he would be easily befriended ? Either way, he wasn’t worried. Whatever happens he’d be able to deal with it, no problem.

Or at least that’s what he tells himself.

“ This place is … awesome ! ” abruptly changes the conversation. It was like he was talking to an actual friend - like Freddy’s previous words weren’t even uttered at all. When he was finished surveying his surroundings he turns his attention back to the bear. “ Are you the only cool talkin’ bear here ? ” a gasp “ Are there more of you ? ”

It smells strongly of peanuts. The scent fills your mind with pleasant memories: late night study sessions, conversations, just enjoying another’s company … It’s wonderful. Completely wonderful. You have a good feeling about this tea.

You take a big gulp !!

Mhhmmm ! delicious. The taste of peanut butter overwhelms everything, but you don’t mind it. In fact, you’d say the peanut butter-y taste is the best part ! It’s like a s’more in liquid form. You end up drinking the entire cup.

You feel comforted 220+hp

[ ZACH GOT 🍫 CHARA TEA ☕️ ]

The cup is cold to the touch as if it were made of ice. You notice the aroma is quite bitter, as if it’s warning you not to try it. it’s a little off putting, but not so much so that you wouldn’t try the tea. That’s if what’s inside is actually tea.

You take a sip. You are imminently taken aback by a sharp, sour taste. A mixture of lemon, lime and something you can’t quite identify assaults your tastebuds. You consider spitting it out.

But then something changes.

The sour taste melts into something sweeter. You feel the cup in your hands grow warmer as you swallow down the mouthful. It doesn’t taste so bad anymore. You notice the lingering taste of … chocolate left behind.

Perhaps all this tea needed was a little patience.

The aroma is sweet, inviting. It reminds you of the little candies your mother used to give you when she was around more often. You miss that.

You take a sip of the tea. It tastes like … Cotten candy ? with a hint of butterscotch. You can’t quite describe the taste, but you know you crave more of it. You imagine this is what a warm hug would taste like.
