               Miriam usually isn’t quick to move towards people, trauma has made her hesitant, it has left her to flinch away from contact, to keep people at a distance. But the sight of the man and she rushes towards him, arm wrapping across him, fingers digging into his shoulder, while her half arm rests tight against her side, awkward. She smells of antibacterial soap, of shampoo, the kind you would find in a hotel bathroom. It’s a generic smell, one that you could smell on the street and immediately recognize, but you’d never know where you recognized it from. Her grip tightens ever so before she’s pulling away, wiping furiously at wet eyes. “I... uh... Hey...”

Tumblr had this nice big banner at the top of your dashboard alerting any active user about the problem. Guess what has changed since then? Verizon, one of the companies gunning for the death of net neutrality owns yahoo who in turn own Tumblr.
