Day 18: Book + Nature This was me reading Dorothy Must Die at the park. Really love that series! I just need to buy Yellow Brick War but I dunno when coz it's still out of stock here. This photo is a bit challenging to take coz I took this at the park! People were looking at me. 😀😀😀But everything's worth it. I'll Give You The Sun by: Jandy Nelson book review... . . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 /5 (Can I give more than 5? haha) Jandy Nelson really nailed it. It's the first time I sticked many notes on a book! Would love to share some quotes: . . "I have gone mad. I do not want to eat or drink, or I will lose the taste of you in my mouth, do not want to open my eyes if not to see you, do not want to breathe any air that you have not breathe, that has not been inside your body, deep inside your beautiful body." . . "Where the hell is Ralph?" (You'll see. 😊) . . "I remind myself he's probably worse luck than all the world's black cats and broken mirrors combined." . . "...mugging James Dean better than James Dean." . . "Meeting your soul mate is like walking into a house you've been in before - you will recognize the furniture, the pictures on the wall, the books on the shelves, the contents of drawers. You could find your way around in the dark if you had to." . . "I think you might very well be the most eccentric person I've ever met." . . "The sun, stars, ocean, trees, everything, I gave it all up for you." . . 🍰 🍰 🍰 This is a story of twins Noah and Jude and how they dealt with their loved ones. The twins are inseparable until one day a tragedy came between them that they hated each other. This book teaches us to forgive and believe in second chances, even if those chances becomes third or fourth. It also tells us to be true to ourselves and follow our hearts. . . ☕☕☕ This book is so intense that I can't put it down and I was hungry to know what will happen next. All the characters have a significant story to tell, and the story's unpredictable. I love how it ended. It gives a fresh taste of the world of YA books. This book made me realize that words can really be beautiful and can feed the soul. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson book review 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 /5 "You have to take your chances. Go and attempt and see what happens. And even if you fail-- especially if you fail--come back with your experience and your hard-won knowledge and a story you can tell. And then later you can say, without regret or hesitation... 'Once, I dared to dare greatly.' " . . 🍰🍰🍰 This book touches subjects such as family, friends and boy drama. I enjoyed the quests (oh, Clark) or adventures Andie and her friends had and how things can be patched up just by trying. It tells us that everything won't go according to plan and that it's okay to make mistakes and face unexpected things. The writing is too detailed though (Matson style) which sometimes makes the story slow but I'm glad I kept up with it coz I just love the ending. I fell in love with Clark instantly 😍 ☕☕☕ This book is one of my fave summer  reads! I think it's better than Since You've Been Gone but I recommend reading SYBG first! 📚📚📚 Best Accompanied by: Ice cream, Diet Coke and pizza . Best place to read: At the park, school, road trips .
