this whole kesha ordeal is so devastating and like …. its just such a heartbreaking display of how evil these power structures work. like there’s so many levels to how fucked up this situation is: the justice system would rather go against the victim in favor of a party that claims them losing money is more important than kesha’s dignity and mental health, the most support kesha seems to be getting is coming from fans (which is great of course) but so many of her peers in the industry are staying silent about this in fear of their own careers being jeaopardized, and also the high probability that kesha isnt the first female artist to have gone through this- but the first to be as outspoken about wanting justice- and the fact that her outcome is this horrifying is only gonna serve as a lesson to future female artists that no matter what, the industry is never going to see them as more than objects and no matter how hard they try theres always gonna be a far more powerful system set in place to repress their voices. this entire situation is so much bigger than most people realize and i feel like everyone should be aware of all the implications this case has and how whats happening to kesha is one of the most disturbing and fucked up things going on in the industry right now
honestly Kesha losing the case speaks volumes about justice for women in america
