Spark pointed to the nearest corner. It wasn’t in clear sight of the rest of the zoo so it wouldn’t be immediately obvious what they were doing but was also in a place that would get a lot of attention if sudden loud noises started coming from it. Seemed like the perfect place to make this plan stop before it started and not alert Break to the fact he wanted them to get caught. Break might not be the most observant of the copybots but he didn’t want to test that too much.

“Oh, yeah, that does look like it’d work! You ready?” No time to stop and think, only time to.... rush in and start wrecking things. Because that’s absolutely going to work how he wants it to. Well - he thinks it will. Little things like noise and attention can’t get in the way and stop him!

He felt his core speed up as they approached the kangaroo exhibit. No more delaying, whatever the outcome they were doing this.

“Yeah, but it’d still be fun.” The kangaroos don’t look that interested in more people showing up, but Break had figured they wouldn’t - they’re probably pretty bored of people. At least, he thinks they are, he knows he would be. So this should at least liven things up for everyone!

Spark just nodded as if he agreed not really trusting his voice to not portray his doubt.

“So where do you think would be a good place to make an opening?”

“Hmm...” Break actually has to stop and think about that before finally nodding.  “Somewhere close to a corner, probably! It’ll be easier to send them out of the opening if they don’t have anywhere else to go!”

Loud and destructive, Spark should have guessed. Well at least it would get people’s attention on what was going on before the animals got out.

“Ok so you said you wanted to do the kangaroos first?”

“Yes! ...I wonder if I could get one of them to fight me.” That would be so much fun. Almost as much fun as causing general chaos on Animal Fight Night - which was absolutely what this this is going to turn into, he’s sure of it. One-hundred percent. No other possibilities.

“Well they’re really strong so probably pretty fast. Um…”

Spark didn’t think he’d like the answer to the question he was about to ask but it did need to be asked.

“How are we supposed to get the enclosures open anyway?”

“We trash a spot until we make an opening and then chase the animals out through it.” 

It was a truly brilliant way to go about things. Break was sure of it. But then he was sure about everything he did, because his ideas were always the best ideas and could never go wrong!

Spark attempted a smile. He didn’t want Break to think he didn’t like the plan and get mad at him.

“Places like this usually have a map close to the front.”

“...Nah, maps take too long and planning’s boring anyway. Let’s just make the order random after all!” Break grinned at Spark, unaware of the other robot’s reluctance. “...Wanna see how fast the kangaroos can move?”

Spark looked around as they approached the zoo. It was too much to hope that not that many people would be there. This was going to be bad, but he wasn’t brave enough to stand up to Break. He’d just have to go along with this dumb plan until he could get away.

“You don’t sound very enthusiastic. C’mon, cheer up, it’ll be great!” Break is, after all, entirely confident that his plan will work and be fun and there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. So why should anyone be worried about it? How is that even a thing, anyway. “Now, which pen first - and how is this zoo organized, anyway...? Don’t want to end up releasing things in the wrong order!”

“Let’s start with the easy animals like the gazelles and stuff; if you could help me spook ‘em into leaving their pens that’d be great,” Break says, grinning practically from ear to ear. “Then— the gorillas! Yeah, the gorillas, then the bears, then the big cats! I don’t think we need to bother with the reptile house, though, and the fish are right out - but we are setting the polar bears loose that’s non-negotiable. The king of the zoo will be decided tonight!” 

No really sure what else to do, Spark just nodded and followed Break. He didn’t like the idea of scaring any of the animals but at least he wouldn’t be directly hurting any of them. Also with the herbivorous out first hopefully the staff will realize what’s going on and get people out before anyone got hurt. That was the best he could hope for at the moment.

“This. Is going to be. Amazing!” Gazelles and antelopes and things first, the giraffes could stay put (Break likes giraffes enough to let them have a better chance at surviving), but everything else is going to be free in hours or until he and Spark get caught and have to leave. Whichever comes first. “You’re never going to forget this!”

Spark wasn’t sure what to do at this point. Saying no wasn’t exactly something he excelled at, and even if he did, it didn’t seem like Break was able to be reasoned with. Looked like he was stuck going to havoc at the zoo. Hopefully once a couple of the animals were out Break would be too distracted to notice Spark slip away to the underwater exhibit. Nothing to let loos and cause panic in there.

Spark shrinks back a bit at the description of what Break had in mind. That did not sound like fun to him. He may have done some stupid stuff to ward off loneliness but this was pushing what he was willing to do.

“Um I think I’ll just stay home. Maybe see if Shadow wants to watch one of his animes with me or something.”

Best to get away before Break realized that electric sparks would be a good way to scare animals into a frenzy.

“Nope too late can’t back out now c’mon let’s go!” Break’s practically vibrating from excitement, bouncing back and forth from foot to foot because of how thrilled he is with his own idea. He doesn’t notice Spark’s lack of interest (and probably wouldn’t care if he did.)

Instead, he reaches out to grab him by the upper arm, beaming.

“If we hurry there might be enough staff there to make it really interesting!”
