"Oh, hello. What are you doing here, sir?" The Sandman adjusted his hood so the boy (to him, anyway, he was probably in his twenties) couldn’t see the scars on his face. He hadn’t expected anyone to come walking this way.

He couldn't sleep. Maybe walking around in the middle of the night wasn't such a great idea, but it was better than sitting inside by far. Josh startled a little at the sound of someone's voice, but the hood didn't bug him much. He performed in weird zentai masks and stuff for a living. "Uhm. Nothing, really," he replied a little shyly. "Couldn't sleep."

He’d been rushing too, trying to get from one stage to another. Luckily Joel wasn’t playing this festival, just there to support his other friends. He’d left the mau5head at the hotel, not wanting to attract any more attention than he’d probably get from people who already knew what he looked like. He tried to weave himself into a break in the crowds and of course, he knocked into someone.

"Shit, sorry, man…" He looked at the guy to make sure he was okay, registering the guy’s American accent. Well duh, you’re in Miami. This guy sounds different though, almost Canadian. I’m guessing Michigan or Ohio. He and his friend both had hoodies on. Weird. It was like, eighty degrees out. They looked familiar, maybe they were supposed to play a show here. "Yeah, I’m fine. Are you okay?" The guy looked like he’d seen a ghost or something. He had really crazily-shaped eyes, and his hair was dyed a faded blue color. He was kinda cute. Joel hoped he didn’t have his usual bitchface on, this guy looked like he was seriously spooked or something. His friend looked over at him, giving him an odd look. Sorry you and your friend walked in front of me? What do you want from me, dude?

Josh nodded, refraining from biting his lip. There was something. Something about this guy that was drawing him in. Not like Tyler, because that was different. Tyler was like his other half, but in a platonic brotherly kind of way. Settling for chewing on the inside of his lip instead, Josh nodded again. "Yeah, I'm good. Just a little shaken."

A glance at the tattoos confirmed his identity for the drummer, and it was really only because of his own hectic, sporadic music taste that he actually knew who he'd just collided with. "Joel. Zimmerman, like deadmau5. Uhm. Wow. Are you playing?" he asked.

Tyler made a sound from behind him that sounded a little like he was saying Really, Joshua, now is not the time for you to go all heart eyes over some producer, okay, he may or may not be playing but we are definitely playing and we need to go, Joshua William. Looking back, Josh gave him a small look that asked for another minute before turning to look back at Joel. "I'm Josh Dun, I play drums for twenty one pilots. Captain Bossy behind me is Tyler."

Following Tyler -because he actually knew where they were going and Josh was maybe not paying attention to the instructions that they'd been given-, Josh could kind feel the bounce in his step. Shocking, because it was 90 outside, really sunny, and he was in his skeleton hoodie. And Tyler's tights, but still.

Tyler was rushing, and Josh was following, and he really wasn't sure how it happened, but the next thing he knew, he was running into someone that was just a little bit taller than him. Or had they run into him? He wasn't too sure.

Ty was checking to see if he was okay, but Josh's concern was apologizing to the other person. Except it was kinda hard to do that when hazel eyes like that kinda had him like a deer in the headlights. "A-are you okay?" he managed to stutter out, vaguely registering anything happening around him.
