Meet Karoline Atkins, a twenty-three year old Pogue class resident. She currently holds a job as a cosplay model. Those who know her say she’s friendly but also stubborn.

[ The Seductress]

Here is her story:

Life hadn't been the easiest for Karoline, her mother and father both died of an overdose when she was 7 years old. She was the one to find them both dead on the floor. Later adopted by a nice woman and her son, she instantly felt like she had a place. Although she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the doctors say it had something to do with the tramua she went through as a kid. Karoline turned to video games, drawing and anything artsy to help her get through life. She graduated from high school with straight A's, she became a cosplay model immediately after high school. She designed her own costumes and helped others create theirs, being an artist was something she was extremely good at since she was a kid. During an event, Karoline was attacked in the alleyway when she decided to smoke a joint to relax, the dude beat her into a coma. She finally pulled through after being in the coma for a year and a half. Now she is currently working on becoming a more famous cosplayer as well as having a blog for kids who have been abused.

Meet Nikolas Huxley, a twenty-five year old Pogue class resident. He currently holds a job at annex where he is a fitness instructor. Those who know him say he’s hard working but also guarded.

[ The Athlete]

Here is his story:

Nikolas is the oldest and only surviving child of Rebecca Huxley. Growing up he learned a lot on his own on the streets of New York. His father was not part of his life at all until his mother was murdered when he was ten years old. When he was taken to his father's, he was separated from his younger brother only to meet up with him when they both entered the same gang. When they were eighteen and sixteen, they both tried to leave which resulted in Mathew losing his life and Nick blaming himself for it. Trying to get away nick fled and landed in Florida and struggled for two years to put himself through school. Life eventually got a little easier and he now works as an instructor at Annex, a local gym where he is said to one day take over after working there for almost 7 years now. .

Meet Olivia Wolfe, a twenty-three year old Kook class resident. She currently holds a job at the beach where she is a Certified Lifeguard and Surf Instructor. Those who know her say she’s free-spirited but also Non-Committal.

[ The Misunderstood]

Here is her story:

Olivia was born and raised in Breakwater Bay, Florida. She was a “test tube” baby and grew up an only child. Her mother was a socialite and her father was the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company – everything was handed to her on a silver platter. Nevertheless, Olivia grew up unhappy. She didn’t know who she was or who she could trust. That was until she met a Pogue boy named Rudy. Rudy became Olivia’s best friend. She eventually dissociated with people of her ‘kind’ and found comfort in adventuring with Pogues instead. It wasn’t until she fraternized with the crowd on the ‘other side of the tracks’ that she discovered herself; her vibrant, free-spirited, and happy self. Now, a resident of BWB still, Olivia treks through life by working as a Certified Lifeguard and Surf Instructor.

Meet Arienne Delarosa , a thirty year old Pogue class resident. She currently holds a job at Club Spade where she is a Dancer. Those who know her say she’s Intelligent but also Bitchy.

[ The Seductress]

Here is her story:

Arienne Delarosa was no stranger to hustling for her money. When you grew up without money, life becomes hard. By the time she was sixteen, she was selling drugs to make a quick buck. She had to help her brother, Hash, take care of their grandparents. They each took turns and worked together to keep the house and food on the table. When she was twenty-one, with Finn being locked up, she had to find other ways to earn. Which is how she became a stripper. Perfecting her craft, she finds taking her clothes off for money earns her a fairly wealthy lifestyle.

Meet Finnegan Callahan , a thirty-three year old Pogue class resident. He currently holds a job at club spade where he is a bouncer. Those who know him say he’s suave but also possessive.

[ The Provo]

Here is his story:

Finn was born in Tralee, Ireland but grew up in Belfast until he was about 7 years old. His old man picked up their family for “business” in America which landed them in the Keys. No one knew they were members of the IRA. Everything was different, and he had to learn to adjust to a different type of setting. The only thing that was familiar to him was growing up in rough neighborhoods. Finn’s father was a highly abusive man, but he was also an alcoholic with a bad smack habit, he died when Finn was 17. When he turned up dead, it was ruled as an overdose. What no one knew was that Finn injected his old man while he was passed out and watched him choke on his own bile as he ODed. When he was a teen, Finnegan was already dealing drugs, and partying it up. He had very few friends, Hashir being one of them. Finn was smart, but valued life in the fast lane over school. Hash’s sister? Well, their history has been intertwined quite closely. At the age of 24 he was incarcerated for six years on possession of drugs, distribution to minors, and firing a gun. Once released, he hooked back up with his old friend Hash and began life as a modern pirate and bouncing at the local strip club Arienne worked at, has to keep an eye on his girl after all.

Meet Octavia Bradshaw, a twenty-four year old Kook class resident. She currently holds a job at Club Spade where she is a Dancer. Those who know her say she’s Outgoing but also Jealous.

[ The Flirt]

Here is her story:

Born in Denver, Colorado, Octavia had everything that she could ever want. Her parents adored her and gave her whatever she wanted and she was on track to become a star, but when she was 13 years old, her life turned upside down. After ballet class, her mother had not turned up to pick her up, something that was off in itself, so she walked home. When she got home, she found her mother dead in the bathtub. She was devastated and completely went off the rails, spending every weekend high or drunk, sometimes both. As soon as she turned 18, she left home and moved to New York to become famous, wanting a career on Broadway. Following a drunk driving charge and an overdose, she packed up her bags and moved back home to Colorado, having no where else to go. It wasn’t long though until she got involved with the wrong people and fled, ending up in Florida with the hope of starting again.

Meet Amara Ricci, a twenty-five year old Pogue class resident. She currently holds a job at La Pergola where she is a waitress . Those who know her say she’s loyal but also stubborn.

[ The Damned ]

Here is her story:

Amara grew up in a trailer park with her four older sisters and one younger brother alongside her Italian parents. Her father saw her as his fifth failure to get a boy and treated her like it as well. However, two years later her brother was born. The two being the youngest out of the bunch, they grew up being pretty close and made the best out of their living arrangements. Up until she was eighteen and living at home, her life seemed pretty simple but Amara liked it that way. That was until one day, her brother was kicked out and a year later, their father died in a fire in his shop. Not being able to stay there any longer, Amara packed her bags and left to go to college for Italian Studies. While she enjoyed the life she could now live away from her family, it didn’t mean it was much better. One of her classmates had hoped to gain her attention but when it didn’t turn out the way he had anticipated, his true colors showed and he began stalking her. With no one really believing her, she was left to deal with it all on her own but was yet unable to. After a car accident however, Amara knew she had to leave and moved to Breakwater Bay for a fresh start and stay under the radar, afraid her stalker might return if he knew her whereabouts.

Meet Edison Alba Miller, a thirty-nine year old Kook class resident. He currently holds a job at The Bright Tide surf shop where he is the owner. Those who know him say he’s loyal but also stubborn.

[ The Achiever ]

Here is his story:

Edi was a pouge, naturally, but one who’s worked his way into the ranks of the kooks. He garnered professional surfer status at a young age. 19 I’m thinking and went traveling to compete - won nearly every competition imaginable for years and years - he was the face of a clothes and surfing gear line [called sons of anarchy bc I’m trying to make sense of some of his tattoos in pic I’ll be using] so he traveled for promotions of that as well (this sort of segued into him modeling a bit for other companies too - like David Beckham for surfing lol) I’m not sure yet if I want him to have retired because of an injury or him just wanting to finally settle down back at home, but he retired at the top of his game and also retreated from the fashion industry when he did as well. With all the earnings from competitions, he opened a canteen and surf shop called the bright tide... you know like a play on bright side and surfing lol it’s in a central location of the town, right in the middle so not on one side more than the other. He’s brody's mentor/trainer at this point in his life... he’s nearly 40 now. With his pro surfer status and successful business, he’s accepted into the fray of the kooks but is still a pogue at heart. He kind of lives with one foot in both pools and his canteen is a hot spot for not only the pogues but the kooks - Like a neutral ground for them to come to as refuge from the prejudice of the two classes. He’s a rags to riches type and the kooks not accepting his half-sister makes him extremely over protective of her (his mom passed when he was very young. His dad and older brother [Abel - again, tattoo] were killed in a car wreck when Edi was 10, when he was 13 his mom remarried and had his sister when he was 15. Him leaving at 19 meant that they didn’t know each other as kids, but became closer later in life. He’s super chill but definitely an alpha male and not to be fucked with... it only takes one push too far to send him off the deep end. He’s looking for that special someone to spend his life with, never having time for it before... life of an athlete in the fast lane and all, it’s something he’s dead set on now.

Meet Jackson Bates, a thirty-two year old Kook class resident. He currently holds a job at Dark Out Records where he is the CEO & Producer. Those who know him say he’s Charismatic but also Manipulative .

[ The Loon ]

Here is his story:

Bio. Born and raised in California, he was a product of a sexual assault which really caused his mother to have a certain hate towards him but also love him more than anything in her world. He grew with a fine childhood until his mother met a man that was oddly affectionate to Jackson and caused a series of under the covers encounters. With this, Jackson was traumatized by the these events and had developed DID; causing him to have about three separate personalities. Having found his love for music, he set a goal out to be heavily involved in it and created a name for himself. But with all the bustle and drama with it, he wanted something new and something to slow him down. Moving to Florida was something that he never knew was something he needed. He tries to bury his past, but the voices in his head can't make him forget it.

Meet Emily Chambers, a twenty-five year old Pogue class resident. She currently holds a job at Inkphoria where she is a Body Piercer/Co-owner. Those who know her say she’s loyal but also secretive.

[ The Sultry]

Here is her story:

Emily had bounced around most of her young adult life. She thought moving to America with her ex would be a dream come true, it was nothing but a nightmare. Ryan and Emily had fallen into a life fueled with drugs, drink, and crime. Things had grown too much for the young girl so she did something unspeakable. She helped another junkie overdose and used her to fake her death. Emily went on the run, bouncing from state to state until she blew through Denver. She had thought it was a safe spot to lay low, but once she grew comfortable, the letters started. Terrified that she was finally found, she packed up her belongings and fled to Florida, settling down in the South Key, opening up a tattoo parlor with her best friend Nash. Working there as a body piercer, she tries her best to keep her head down and to stay out of trouble.

Meet Enrique ‘Ricky’ Salazar, a twenty-five year old Pogue class resident. He currently holds a job at badlands board shop where he is a manager. Those who know him say he’s creative but also unstable.

[ The lost cause]

Here is his story:

Born to an unstable mother and an absent father, chaos was bound to fill Enrique’s life before he had a chance to experience anything else. It’s truly a miracle that child protective services had not entered Ricky’s life before the age of 12, which is when his mother lost her battles with her drug addiction and died of an overdose. The Salazar family had no safe, responsible, or willing family members to take Ricky in so he entered the foster care system. His first two homes were quick stays, showing they were only involved to keep the children with minimal damage, ones that wouldn’t risk them from receiving their monthly checks. Once he was placed with the Kennedy’s, it seemed like maybe things were going to improve for Ricky, but the new home brought such a cultural shock to the young male. He had never been in an upper class environment, especially never experiencing private school. The best thing was the opportunity for Ricky to advance in his school work, which wasn’t the option as he only had one interest, and it was music. Unfortunately, Ricky found himself in an unfortunate situation once again, as he was being sexually abused by the male music teacher. He knew no other coping skills other than using drugs or running away from the problem, so he chose to do both. He fled his foster home, deciding that the only person he could trust was himself and the streets were a safer place than anything rich private school or mansion home. Ricky’s main source of income for himself was busking in high tourist destinations. He was finally noticed by a producer and he felt his luck was turning around once again - this time for good. Ricky was dropped by the producer as soon as they got their hands on his music, which left Ricky without any money, a home, his dignity, and sanity. He set a small fire to the producer’s home, just enough to scare the male for what he did, but Ricky was caught before he could make it off the property. He was charged with aggravated arson and served a two year sentence, and is currently out on parole. Ricky’s barely staying afloat, but handling the day to day life as best he can. He’s working at Badlands Board shop and living in a small shack close to the beach, taking it one day at a time, unable to maintain sobriety and risking going back to jail.

Meet Noah "Nash" Asher, a twenty-seven year old Pogue class resident. He currently holds a job at Inkphoria where he is a Co-owner & lead tattoo artist. Those who know him say he’s honest but also emotional.

[ The Numb ]

Here is his story:

Dysfunction and abuse are the only means of survival Noah Asher has known. His father disappeared long before he was born leaving him in the unprepared hands of a heartbroken, teenage mother. She lacked self-esteem or proper education and couldn't fend for herself let alone a newborn. The entire city of Chicago played a role in raising Noah from the generous men who put money in his mother's bra to the police department who offered him pen and paper when his mother inevitably ended up there. His idea of a nice afternoon was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car, eating an ice cream cone from McDonald’s as he listened to the FM radio... while his mom worked from the back seat. The streets were no place for a child but Nash had no choice. He spent his teenage years pushing drugs for a gang earning himself and his mother protection until age twenty-one when he chose to be jumped out in exchange for his freedom. He has since developed a bad habit of running from his problems which is why he decided to settle in the Florida Keys where he can hop from island to island.

Meet Chandler Cross, a twenty-five year old Pogue class resident. She currently holds a job at see you there where she is a bartender. Those who know her say she’s Chill vibes but also pushover.

[ The Heart Breaker ]

Here is her story:

Bio: Chandler Cross was born and raised in Denver Colorado. She grew up with her mom and dad in a local trailer park, her dad was a typical lazy drunk and her mom busted her ass to provide. Her mom died when she turned 17 leaving then struggling because well her dad was nothing but a mess. She did everything she could to help pull them together to survive but It felt useless because they were about to be evicted. She met a man online and he became her sugar daddy and her life flipped. In exchange for company and a few photos he paid off all her family debts and allowed her to spend as she wished. She fell in love with her best friend from high school you know him as Noah or Nash. They bonded at a younger age over their struggles and decided when they were older giving their relationship a real try. They lasted for over a year and things went well until Nash found out about her sugar daddy and everything crashed and burned. He left her in the dust and when I say dust he literally went POOF. She met Sterling a few months later and they bonded over relationship struggles and became best friends. Sterling saw how much shit she was beginning to take from her sugar daddy he killed the man and ended up in prison. Chandler felt like her life was falling apart especially after she suffered a miscarriage. She didn’t even know she was pregnant. But she keeps it a secret. She up and moved to Florida after she managed to land an internship with a modeling agency. She works at sea you there beach bar and grill. She is working on rebuilding her life with a sense or normalcy. But you know it seems like wherever she goes the struggles follow.

Meet Sterling Graham, a twenty-eight year old Kook class resident. He currently holds a job at WDC speak easy where he is the manager. Those who know him say he’s protective but also vengeful.

[ The Prisoner ]

Here is his story:

Sterling is from a wealthy family with old money in Boston. Anything he asked for growing up he got without a second thought. When he was eighteen, he brought up the idea of the army to his parents and his crooked father didn’t agree and forbid him to join. Sterling being the rebel he did anyways becoming an Engineer. While on tour he found out from a friend that his girlfriend at the time was sleeping around but when he came home, he found her in bed with his father. It was then that Sterling killed his father while he was on a business trip as his mother was told. During the reading of the will he learned he inherited everything his mother didn’t, and his father had split his money and properties between him and his mother leaving his speakeasy to Sterling. Sterling has just been released from jail after two years and is now living and soaking up life in sunny Florida in hopes of a better life.
