I didn’t know how much I needed this until right now
ANYWAY, what i wanna know is, when this whole ‘fill in your eyebrow’ and ‘thick eyebrows’ trend is over, will all of you still love us? will you still support us and our eyebrows?
will you love our body hair, affirm it, cherish it? and i mean in real life, not in some tumblr aesthetic photoset. not think we’re beautiful despite our body hair but because of it.
brown girls, south asian girls, north african girls, west asian girls, jewish girls, rromani girls, latinx girls, etc - we are beautiful in all our body hair, in our thick eyebrows, our mustaches, our chin hair, our cheek hair, our tummy hair, our shoulder hair, our back hair, our neck hair, our butt hair, our feet hair, etc.
especially, especially, dark-skinned girls with body hair. trans girls with body hair. fat girls with body hair. disabled and differently abled girls with body hair.
will you still love our body hair when it’s no longer trendy to sport thick eyebrows?
Ummmm thick eyebrows is a trait anyone can have regardless of race
Except POC are seemingly the only ones who get ostracized for having them? When white people have them it’s celebrated and hailed as beautiful, but when brown people (mostly brown girls) have them, they’re taught to hate them.
Try again where your opinion is relevant.
whites praise Thique brows but they don’t understand that they usually come naturally with a generally hairy body like most brown people’s
and yes, people of every race/ethnicity can have thick eyebrows but body hair and hairiness is still racialised and brown people are the ones demonized for it.
