🌙 Use 🌙

Moon water is used in spells, potions, cleansing, charging sigils… pretty much any witchcraft practise where you use water or need the power and protection of the moon.

🌙 How to make it 🌙

Take a container, such as a jar or a bottle, what you will use to store moon water (preferably clear, so the moon light can go through). Keep it in moon light as long as it needs until it feels charged. Keep it atleast an hour or two, but you can keep it in moon light over night if you feel like it. Before the sun comes out, close the container and store it in a shadowy place.

🌙 Moon phases 🌙

Moon water doesn’t have to be charged during a full moon. If it’s charged in a different phase, it’s effects change.

Full moon 🌕 charging, healing, banishing, cleansing, love magic

Waning gibbous 🌖 cleansing, undoing curses and binds, relinquishing

Last quater 🌗 relinquishing, banishing, breaking curses and bad habits

Waning crescent 🌘 attaining wisdom, balance, success, attonement, illness

Dark moon 🌑 banishing, soul searching, divination, curses, deconstructive magic

Waxing crescent 🌒 luck, wealth, constructive magic, attraction, success, friendship

First quater 🌓 divination, motivation, calming, growing, strength

Waxing gibbous 🌔 motivation, good health, attraction, success

New moon 🌑 new beginnings and relationships, cleansing, prospect

Week 2 - Cemetery.  GAAAH. I could work on this for a month and still probably not be happy with it. Okay. Prepare for a story.  I started this as a normal drawing around a week ago. I tried it two different times in different settings, blah blah blah. I didn’t end up liking either of them but I decided to try and play around with it in photoshop (the actual drawing) and see if I could figure s

omething out.  Nothing worked, blah blah blah. So I got the marvelous (SARCASM) idea to re-create it on photoshop. I know it doesn’t scream “Cemetery”, but I don’t think it’s too terrible. The shading is pretty eh and I’m still not entirely happy with the scythe or the edges OR the cross in the background… but screw it. I’m happy enough with it. I’m working on my third week one now though and I’m pretty excited about it. :) That”ll be up by Sunday.

This unused postcard is a real beauty. It depicts a gorgeous, beguiling witch at the hour of midnight on Halloween. She holds her broom high, calling in the bats and a gray owl. The colorful harvest moon lights the background, showing off the starlit sky. The candle was, at the tops, form the heads of a witch and a devil. The verse reads, “It’s best beware of the witching hour in which the witches show their power.” The back is unused and slightly age darkened. This beauty will make a fine addition for a collection….
